Sounds like it's going to be a DollyMarket invasion of PUDDLE this year! I'm hoping I can go again this year, since I had a blast last year.

how does anyone decide which dolls to bring?

Oh jeez. I hadn't even thought about that. I'll be driving up from Nashvegas, so I may just actually bring... all of them.

I realize that is of zero help to you, though, kaninchen, since you'll be on a plane!

How much room in your luggage will you have? I can still see Hina stuffing things in her suitcase, clothes, dolls, and wigs sticking out all over.

The best advice I got from True and Babelglyph was to bring a basket or something to tote my dolls and stuff around in.

well PUDDLE is just part of our tour de chi town. so probably not a lot of room. although i could devote an entire carry on but the patch is so big now! thankfully my girls don't really wig swap or even change clothes once they find Their Outfit. hah.

You know, neither do mine! Once they find Their Outfit, it's pretty much that forever.

Also, when planning on who to bring, remember you may be returning with someone new! I don't know whether Groove USA will be back, but the year they came just about everyone left with at least one nude $40 doll. Or you may win a doll, or break down and buy one from the Shifty Lizard.

Or buy a doll from another attendee who has one for sale. Or win/buy other things like clothing, Rement, bodies, wigs...

Ohmygod, it didn't even occur to me that I'd have the chance to bring reasonably-priced new dolls home. O_o Holy moly! As if I needed another reason to be excited for PUDDLE!!

Well, the good news is that I just measured the cubic-foot capacity in my car, and I can fit approximately 108 Pullips in it.

Okay not fair - why is it that I only get to go every other year and Grove USA seem to go the year I'm not there?

Is that in or out of boxes?

I haven't seen anything so far about there being nude dolls for sale at the recent Groove doll shows. And I know that happened prior to the PUDDLE that Groove USA was at selling them. But you never know, what with the ton of releases the past couple of years, they must have a lot of unsold stock piling up.

Oh really? I had never heard that nude dolls were being sold at shows previously. We were all pretty shocked, at least I was.
