This contest is not really crowded.

We wouldn't want more entries than there are voters, would we?  Sweatdrop

Usually there's at least 5 entries.
Just imagine a contest with only one!  LOL

Easy to vote for in that case!

(I think that happened once, only 1 entry by the deadline, so KirsKira kept it open a bit longer for more entries.)
I think the contest is kept open until we get at least 3.
Hi. Sorry to be so late in announcing this, but congratulations, Lejays17.

The number of voters has gone down, and the photo entries are mostly limited to three regulars (Elfy, Alliecat, and Lejays17) with occassional entries by others.

So I guess my main question is: is there still interest in these photo challenges?

Yes! I know I don't play as often as I mean to, but it's always fun to see the new theme, and what people come up with for it. I would miss it if it went away...
I believe the month of December (starting in mid-November), in particular, is often a busy one for many people and participation in forums often declines until after the new year.
Yes! I enjoy the challenges, even when I end up throwing something together in the last few hours. There are more than this little handful of us here, so it would sure be nice to see some more participants. And at least, the others who visit could vote. I know people are busy... I'm slammed this week and always seem to have too much to do, (I'm here while eating supper) but, you don't have to do something hugely elaborate to enter.
Alas, it's already a small forum, and so a smaller fraction of the members will be interested in entering... Cry

Congrats on the win, Lejays!
I vote yes, too, congratulations to Lejays, it was a cool photo.
Thanks all who voted.

I enjoy the challenges - even if I’m running around on the last day trying to get a good shot.

I hope we get some more people playing along next year - I do love everyone’s photos, the different interpretations they make.
Congrats Lejays!

I usually lurk these threads because I don't always have time for photos but I love them! (I'm also almost never home anymore and usually only come on DM when I'm on my home laptop) The themes get me thinking and usually inspire me. LOL I agree that once the holidays are over more people will probably be involved. I always appreciate you hosting even when there isn't a huge turnout Kira. Heart 2
