September Meet-Up - MissMandyLynne - 07-01-2012

just a random meet up like many of us did earlier in the year - its been a while (especially for those of us who couldnt make it to Puddle) - so Celeste and myself her thinking of seeing if anybody would be interested in meeting up in September for a day of fun yay open to suggestions as we havnt decided on what to actually do that day - theres always one of the many Chicago museums (i decided to change the month from August to September once True reminded me that both the Ren Faire and the Urbana Sweet Corn Festival are in August that we would most likly have a better chance of more people showing up)

With the Ren Faire and the Urbana Sweet Corn Festival both in August, I doubt I will be making a trip to Chicago for another meet that month.

If you're coming into Chicago choosing a free location to meet would probably inspire more people to come, too. September is warm enough to have the meet outdoors, so maybe choose an area to wander?

thanks - i just suggested a museum because its something almost everybody will enjoy and agree on - like i posted im open to suggestions ^^

so is there ANY chance for a Septembre meet? - i havnt been able to go to the last few meets plus its the same month as my birthday so id really like to meet up with some people - up for ideas on where to meet up at - anybody?

I can't go to a September meet. We just had the ren faire meetup, and the Urbana Sweetcorn Festival is next weekend. October is a possibility, though.

How about Navy Pier again? Or Millennium Park, or one of the other parks? Perhaps the Lincoln Park Zoo?

Maybe the Lincoln Park zoo? It seems to have free admission.

Yes, the LP zoo is free, and we've met up at Millennium Park before, as well as grabbed coffee on the central west side.

I'm going to attempt to make it into the city this weekend, so if anyone wants to plan something with the realization that I may not get there (though I'll try to), I'd be up for anything!

Reason why I suggested the LP zoo, is because if peoples have to bring any family, like I'd have to, they have fun aswell. :3

Cause the only way I'd get to come is if my family of 6 comes, and I have two nephews, 10, and 11, and they'd just frigid love it. XD

But if thats a bad idea, I will understand. :3
