Maybe try doing scales on their face around the eyes. I think they used fishnet or something. Here is the link.

As in Boreas, the north wind god? Maybe this will provide more ideas if you'd like to name them after winds.

They have the same root, but Borea as in hyperborean; they're named more after locations.

Borea's almost done! I'm waiting on her possible wig from Parton- and putting of the tiny detailed seam-sewing because I don't want to do it..! ^^;

Soon it will be time for the tedious detailed seam sewing which is like my least favorite part of this...

I'm also thinking of making her tail either partially or totally lavender purple...
