RE: Dolls & Pets thread! - Alliecat - 07-29-2016

Those are all very cute. Shadow and doggy friend look like they're off a book cover -- some fantasy novel about a wanderer and his faithful magic pet. or something Tongue Boo, the outtakes are funny. I have trouble getting my fur child to pose well with dolls.

We're living in a little bubble of denial at the moment... the fact that she isn't really "acting sick" makes me want to believe the vet is wrong and she doesn't have cancer Cry ... Our only option is a clinic 5 1/2 hours away. I don't know if it would be fair to put her through some traumatic surgery AND the travel. Until the consulting vet gets back from vacation, we're carrying on in a cautious little state of denial.
Here she is greeting the new arrival.

Here we are again, still trying to be normal... we're on vet #3 and waiting for a 2nd biopsy result.
I think the 2nd pic here is her most artistic photobomb to date.

I am sorry but Eliza is looking better than the super model you got there smile she has such shiny hair. Hope you both get good news this week.

RE: Dolls & Pets thread! - it's a secret - 08-16-2016

Alliecat I've read about you cat and I hope she is okay. I'm sure it's difficult but don't give up! I know how you feel really. smile My aunt's cat died previous night she was 14 years and she was sick since april. Fortunatelly my aunt has 8 cats more but that cat was her special baby.
Both are cutes and (what was the name of the cat?) she seems very curious watching and smelling the doll xd

I hope your kitty will get better in no time, Alliecat. Its heartbreaking when something like this happens.

She is looking beautiful, I think you got yourself two models in one picture. smile

RE: Dolls & Pets thread! - GreysPrincess - 08-18-2016

Sending lots of good vibes to your kitty, AllieCat. I hope you get some good news.

What a pretty kitty!

RE: Dolls & Pets thread! - Alliecat - 09-08-2016

What cute photos, Greys (Morgan looks ready to play!) and Secret (what's your kitty's name?) smile

Thanks for the good wishes. We've now been through 5 vets (OK, 3 at one clinic), 2 pathologists & a histologist, & it's looking more like she has a horrendous bacterial infection, possibly caused or exacerbated by a tooth extraction in May. All the more heinous, that that vet wrote her off on the spot, said it was probably cancer & did I want her put down right then. Oh My It disintegrated her jawbone. Which may or may not be re-calcifying; 2nd x-ray by new vets was 'better'. So we're doing long-term antibiotics... Not out of the woods yet as she needs some coaxing to eat & her mouth is somewhat messed up sad But, they gave her maybe 2 weeks, & it's been 2 months.
That vet is so FIRED.

That's positive news, Alliecat! I hope she continues to improve.

Heck no. Charge me $700 to tell me my cat's dying & can't even give me fresh "pill pocket" treats to give her antibiotics with? They gave me a "partial packet" that turned out to have FOUR, STALE ones in it. Rawr!

RE: Dolls & Pets thread! - it's a secret - 09-10-2016

Those infections which do not treat or you don't know you're having are terrible. sad but fortunatelly she is still fine. I prey for your cat. I hope the problems don't go worst! (I don't know how to say this in english but I hope you understand it) Sweatdrop it's complicated and hard when a patient has more than one illness. :S

My cat's (from that picture) name is Neu that it means "snow" in catalan. I have another who names Miu and the third is Xispa which means "sparkle" Tongue
