Two new girls - Alliecat - 12-01-2014 Most of my little collection seems to be happening in twos. My first 2 J's... Daesani & Petra on consecutive days... my second 2 J's... now two more new girls arrived from different places on the same day. Introducing Sunny & Rosalind. (Thank you Fishy & Isminity.) The lighting on most of these is crummy. But it's been sooooo gloomy here it seems like we hardly have any daylight, and with too much else to do, I wound up shooting these late at night in a corner, with flash. Sigh. I could iron that backdrop too. Out of the boxes! Suitable furniture for a princess? She's very sweet, but definitely not dressed for outdoor adventures. The mini family grows. Sunny has lots of modelling potential too. She tried out a couple of new looks: ... and met her new sisters. "That's one scary box..." "But I made it!" The girls gathered round to meet her. The gang. This looks like fun about to happen. ...and, they got photobombed. Thanks for looking RE: Two new girls - isminity - 12-01-2014 That chair set is perfect for minis! Love it! Also love that they appear to all be looking at kitty. RE: Two new girls - Miss Edith - 12-01-2014 I always enjoy your photos The last one is my favourite, in fact all the J Dolls' pics really look as if they are chatting and ..real ! Congratulations on your 2 new beautiful blondes. I hope the wee princess is amenable to a change of clothes so she can go on your outdoor adventures with her mini sisters. RE: Two new girls - scrapsoflife - 12-03-2014 Congrats on the new girls! Love the photobombing kitty RE: Two new girls - PullipPrincess - 12-03-2014 Your new girls are lovely. That furniture set is just too perfect for your little Princess Rosalind! <3 It matches her so well. ^.^ I also think that Sunny is very pretty and looks great in all of the outfits you put on her! RE: Two new girls - fishy - 12-03-2014 Glad to see that Sunny's settled in so well. Lovely photos!! RE: Two new girls - Severity - 12-03-2014 I love everything, but especially photobombing kitty! RE: Two new girls - Chyntia - 12-05-2014 Congratulations!! They are both very pretty!! I love the furniture! suits her so well!! Reminds me I still have to take my little Rosalind out of the box!! Looking forward to see her in you picfics! RE: Two new girls - Alliecat - 12-05-2014 Thank you everybody I'm glad to know someone enjoys the photos, because they're a lot of fun to make. Yes, my fur child joins most photoshoots unless she's sleeping in her 'office'. She's probably hoping for treats, because she'll get them if I need to pose her in a shot. That furniture is made of sardine or spam cans, or the like... was my grandparents' and sat ignored for ages until I recently clued in that it was mini-sized. Wanted to do some more photos, but kinda swamped, & gloomy weather. I took Sunny to the beach Monday; it clouded over just in time. It was late, it was getting dark, it was windy & cold, & thus her first trip to the beach resulted in one not-great pic. You wouldn't imagine a plastic doll could look cold, but I think she really looks like she's freezing! RE: Two new girls - Miss Edith - 12-05-2014 she certainly does !! Wearing the blue doesn't help of course but it suits her so well. RE: Two new girls - Severity - 12-10-2014 Alliecat, I heard that PullipStyle was having a sale on many of the J-Dolls, and I instantly thought of you and your girls! RE: Two new girls - Alliecat - 12-10-2014 ...ooh... going to look... but shipping to Canada may defeat the bargain. Thanks for the heads-up RE: Two new girls - Missy_Crane - 12-11-2014 Ahh Mini Rosalind is just as cute as big Rosalind. Look at those melty chocolate eyes! |
