I think the raindrops are skittles, which being all the colours of the rainbow have a weather connection. It's a great shot, Allie.

Thanks, everyone! The PTFCo gang is delighted to congratulate Red on a winning photo. She's definitely on board with the supermodel crew LOL

The "rain" is jellybeans and the ones on the ground are malt balls. The store guy was probably somewhat bemused at the ex.planation of why I was taking so long to pick candy. Everyone else was just grabbing Easter stuff and I was wandering around & around looking for ideas. He asked if I needed help so I told him what I was doing LOL

I really like the dress too. I got it from someone on here a few years ago. It was kind of Dawn's, and I hadn't tried it on anyone else, that I recall. I was pleased to find it wasn't too big for Red.

Way behind with photo-sorting as usual; sigh.... so here's a bunch from past pic-a-week shoots.

'Kay, now I want to cry.
'Cuz those trees are gone.

And now I want to scream.
'Cuz Canada is always lecturing the States about "the environment," but Canadians are a bunch of selfish bastards just like 'Mericans when it comes to HATING TREES!

People HATE TREES! I have come to believe this over the course of many years of observation. What is the first thing people do when they buy a new parcel of property, or even purchase an existing home? CUT DOWN THE DAMNED TREES! Ideally, they'll strip everything with a bulldozer down to the bare dirt. If that's not feasible, they will cut down the biggest, oldest trees, "because it might fall on the house."

But oh, I donated five dollars to the World Wildlife Fund so that makes me a good person.

Yeah, well, those tigers are extinct because people HATE TREES and cut them down as fast as they can.

Okay, sorry about the rant, but... oh, look! There's Jake! Wasn't his whole movie supposed to be some kind of environmental statement? "I love that movie! I want to live on Pandora! I want to save the environment!" Oh, but -- let me cut down these trees first so I can pave a nice wide space to park my motorhome.

Now there's a new Pandora movie coming out... maybe... finally... after a decade and a half... and based on the teaser trailer, it looks like another "bad men with machines vs the environment" story. I think I'll go see that movie at the mega-multiplex at the mall, with its 200 acre parking lot where there used to be a marsh, but ick! Marshes are full of mosquitoes, so a parking lot is better.

Again, sorry about the rant. I was just reading articles about the environment, like, literally before I clicked on to this post, and I'm looking at the air outside filled with dust and smoke that's blowing in all the way from Las Vegas 187 linear miles away.

The tiger photos are beautiful, and effectively illustrate how a tiger's striped pattern allows it to blend in with the dappled sunlight on a forest floor. You know, back when there were forests.

I still have some photo spots in the yard, so here are Red and Celeste with a solstice photoshoot in their new dresses. Was a bit too late for the best light. And the difficulty of getting dolls to stand on soft mossy footing increases ex!ponentially with the number of mosquitoes.

When Red visited last summer she had a photo with Mr Pumpkin. Here she is with his offspring yay

Yes, Jake is from Avatar. If you like sci-fi at all, or movies with mindblowingly amazing effects, it's a must.
Pumpkin Sprout is going great guns and thinking about taking over the garden.

My weigela bush is absolutely bursting this summer; I don't remember it ever having so many flowers. I thought Claudine would be a nice match for the yellow & red.

Kinda missed the flower peak for photos, but there were some that were still fairly fresh.

She hasn't had a shoot in a while. She looks pleased, doesn't she.

Couple more of Sunsette & Dawn with their PUDDLE ponchos. This was another mosquitoey hurryupandshootit scramble.

Claudine looks very proud of herself and the flowers. And Dawn and Sunsette look adorable, even if it's not exactly poncho weather (though I guess they could keep the mosquitoes off!).
