Congratulations go out to BlueBlueKarou & Alliecat for their Round 36 winning shots! In the voting thread, Alliecat gave her blessings to BlueBlueKarou to decide the next round's theme.
BlueBlueKarou has come up with the following for Round 37:
"Best Friends".

This sounds so fun!
Question: Does anyone have any tips on how to compress their photos down to 500 x 375 pixels? Last time I tried it looked bad IMO. I don't think I did it right, and I'm sorry if it was a headache for you, KiraKira!

If you use Flickr to host your photos, it's one of the optional sizes when you click on Download photos, View all sizes. Or there's something close to it based on the size photo your camera produces.

OK, I'm finally gonna ask this dumb question, but, "0:00 HST"... do you mean midnight, 00:00, the beginning of July 24, or midnight, like 23:59, the end of July 24? Duh, but I'm never sure if I should take that "0:00" literally or whether I have an extra day XD
Renlee, if you're doing the re-sizing with software instead of on the page your photos are hosted with (Flickr? Photobucket?), when you re-size there should be an option to "maintain aspect ratio" which will keep the same proportions. Is that what you meant?, cos I didn't notice anything. Otherwise, like CB said, when you get the bulletin-board code to share the photo, there should be a menu offering different sizes.
