RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - DeadlyNova - 01-17-2018 Oh, she's absolutely precious!! RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - renlee83 - 01-18-2018 Hehehe she is just the littlest squish! Adorable shot! RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Berrybyul - 01-18-2018 Day 17! A Novi stars girl! Her wig was a tangled mess, so I softened it up and gave her a trim, it's still rough but she's drastically improved! Shes also had an arm transplant! I received her and another Novi who both had 1 arm!! Thankfully her transplant arm doesn't look terribly our of place. (anyone want and armless Novi?) She might end up being given a face up, who knows! On a side note, I'm currently looking for ai dolls. ❤️ Please pm if you have one to sell( made a post in BST as well). RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Miss Edith - 01-18-2018 I love Novi Stars and your photo is beautiful <3 Her new arm looks like it was meant to be, with the colours in her legs. RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Alliecat - 01-18-2018 They are such unusual little characters. The effects you made suit her! And yeah, the arm looks fine (not that I would know... ) RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - davidd - 01-18-2018 Novi Stars! Una Verse has "borrowed" Alie Lectric's arm! (It doesn't surprise me to discover that these little alien creatures are vicious vivisectionists, and probably cannibalistic, as well. ) You're right about their hair being difficult. What do you use to soften it? I liked the Novi Stars line, but I think the lack of articulation and the relatively high prices hurt their potential. I'm happy to see one appearing in your A Doll A Day project. RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - DeadlyNova - 01-18-2018 She's cute!! I agree that the arm looks totally natural! I never paid much attention to Novi Stars before. RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Lejays17 - 01-19-2018 She's a cutie, and I wouldn't have known it was an arm transplant if you hadn't said as it matches her legs RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Offgenemi - 01-19-2018 I never saw a novi star in person but I adore their photos. I was tempted several times to get one. They are adorable ! RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Berrybyul - 01-19-2018 I did a fabric softener soak and comb, then rinsed and air dried, it's still pretty bad, but miles better then when i recieved her, and yes! Articulation on these girls would be amazing!@david Day 18 - Princess Pinky The Princess will see you now~ RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - fishy - 01-19-2018 Pretty! RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - davidd - 01-19-2018 Quite the pretty pink princess, and I like her frilly throne! Fabric softener, eh? Thank you for the tip, I shall give it a try. RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - DeadlyNova - 01-19-2018 Adorable!!! A little princess indeed! I love her chair! Fabric softener works WONDERS for doll hair. I'd be lost without it on a lot of the vintage dolls I've gotten. RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Miss Edith - 01-20-2018 lovely & very regal looking princess in her pretty chair RE: BerryByul's Doll a day 2018 - Berrybyul - 01-20-2018 Day 19 La Dee da! |
