Day 279
So I was checking the spreadsheet, and noticed that I didn't take any photos of Mira and Duchess this year. I was poking them around the lightbox and after a while, I arrived at the conclusion that there's something missing, specifically Raven. And now they look like they're posing for a girl band poster. Given their attire, I'm guessing symphonic metal, something like an all-girl version of Epica...

Okay but now I really, really want this band to be a thing. If I had a Duchess of my own, I'd make it a thing. They do look fantastic together, and it's interesting how their looks and colour palattes compliment each other. I love the filtered picture, it's so very album cover.

That makes a great band poster / album promo shot.
I would have thought to put Duchess with the other two, but the colours work perfectly together.

Thanks! I might make the band a thing, since I'm trying to work out my own EAH canon (I love EAH, but the story has some serious issues), plus, Raven's favorite class in the official canon is music, so it's not that off... And Duchess is going to be someone else, as well as Mira, so yeah, they might as well form a band...

Thanks! Well, they all sport black-white-purple color combo, plus, I mostly needed Duchess and Mira as they didn't have a photo, but yes, this trio works surprisingly well.
Day wait, what? 280 already? Where did they all go?
It was supposed to be ADAW #40 today, but it's #39.5 instead. I have this idea for October posters, but I have a kaboomigraine today and I needed to do a simple migraine doodle. I still want to post all four posters I originally planned, though, so whenever my heads stops trying to ex- or implode, it's going to be double doodle week. I hope it's this week.

... wonders what symphonic metal is, but yeah, the potential girl-band is cool. I like the doodle!, especially the shading from orange to blue. The little figure behind the tree is fun too! I hope the kaboomigraine (great word) is better soon.

Your band name is far better, and that doodle is just fantastic, I love how even the moon has a wicked grin on its face.

The gradient of the sky looks amazing, I’ve seen sunsets like this when we’ve been at the beach or in the bush.
The grin on the moon is particularly neat.
Clawdeen & Twyla always look great in the circus outfits.

Symphonic metal is more melodious subgenre of heavy metal that combines metal sound with classical instruments and sometimes whole orchestra, some bands have vocalists trained in operatic singing. The most famous would be Nightwish (although I don't really enjoy their music after their original vocalist left), and in my first post I mentioned Epica, if you're in the mood for some noise (don't let 'symphonic' fool you, it's still mostly metal), here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmyym0dT4SM
