Very clever of her, but yeah, it's going to take a long time. She needs to recruit some assistants. The gang sitting on top of the piles sure aren't helping much!

I like everything Schwab has written. This one was quite ambitious and very well done. It was in my top 10 reads of last year.

I've never found that the MH dolls are very helpful, and considering that the 2 up there are both Rochelle and she's a statue she may not be much use. Skylar wouldn't help her move the books, but she would cheer her on.

It is well and truly football season here now. We had the Grand Final of the AFLW yesterday between the Adelaide Crows and the Brisbane Lions. Lottie became an Adelaidey when their mens team made the 2017 Grand Final and showed her support of the team.

Sadly they lost a close game to the Lions, but Lottie still enjoyed supporting her team, which is what it's all about anyway.

I have had way too much screen time tonight. I read "Adelaide Cows". xp
You found a teeny football! Cute.
Bummer the team lost, but, as long as she had fun.

Excellent that Lottie has maintained her support in the team, she's a real outlier in the Pullip family supporters, as her team isn't even from the same state as she lives in!

The little footy is very cute, just the right size for the pullips.

The Crows lost to Brisbane? Awww! It's all because I was gonna pull for the Crows this season rather than the 'Pies!

Lottie rocks the Adelaide colours, though, so there's that!

('Pies got trounced by the Eagles in front of an enormous crowd! slash )

I actually think the Crows may ultimately have a better season than the Pies, so there’s still time to make your second team your first one.

Their detractors do sometimes call them the Cows. Lottie enjoys following her Crows win or lose.

Yep, agreeing with Elfy - jump off the Pies this season, they’re a basket-case off the field.  The Crows are much more put-together this season  LOL LOL

It's ANZAC Day here today and a few of our crew: Theo, Finn and Tristan decided to pay tribute to those who served in their own special way.

They gathered around a sprig of rosemary (for remembrance) and stood for a minute's silence.

Very elegant, and a fitting tribute. Good that they did the minute's silence too.

RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2021 - Alliecat - 04-25-2021

Nice. Do you have our equivalent of Remembrance Day in November as well?

Yes, we also observe Remembrance Day on 11 Nov, there's a minute's silence at 11am, and laying of wreaths & other ceremonies.

ANZAC day is a public (bank?) holiday if it falls on a weekday, and it's a non-trading day until 12pm - so people can go to the Dawn Service & march if there's one.  Last year when in lockdown, Victoria didn't have any public ceremonies, but people stood in their driveways with candles at dawn to observe.

Oh, that’s a lovely community thing to do.
