Anzac Day down here this week, I thought the nice weather was gone after Easter, but the sun has got his hat on today. Sophie and new arrival Hildy decided to make the most of it.

Both pairs of boots are cool, with lots of traction on the soles! Looks like it's time to go for a hike!

Cute! For those of us in the northern hemisphere the idea of Easter coming in the fall seems weird – probably just as weird as the opposite for you – and reminds me of how much trouble I have every year finding an Easter card for my Aussie penpal that does not mention spring!

It’s been a glorious weekend weather-wise, and Hildy & Sophie are sensible to take advantage.
We will have to see if we can organise a hike for them in the next few weeks.

The outfits seem less appropriate for hiking... though I guess the footwear is the most important part!

Tristan certainly looks the part of the brave prince venturing into the dark forest to rescue the princess. He feels he may have a future in Hollywood.

My first reaction was that this image looked very "cinematic." Tristan does look the part here; or, specifically, he looks the movie version of the role of a brave and dashing warrior prince on an epic quest. The arm across the chest clutching the cloak is an effective gesture, very dramatic!

It’s his original cape, that’s the other side of it. It was an advantage of the pic that we could show it off.
