I had never seen that CPK, very interesting. Nice job on the custom spacesuit, too.

thanks. my mom was gung-ho on making me a NASA boy, like so many young kids of the 1980's.

she had my dad, whom was deep into plastic model kits, build many NASA and STAR TREK models to decorate my room with.
it definitely left it's mark on me;

Is that one of the models your dad constructed?
They're not dolls, they're action figures!

no, those are all long gone. the influence all that NASA and STAR TREK related business instilled in me, however, is still alive and strong.

to this day, i have an affinity for 70's/80's STAR TREK starship design,
and Japanese Animation Mecha (robot) design, -that of the VF-1 "Valkyrie" from MACROSS specifically-
was the gateway that got me onboard the Anime wagon train to begin with.

the 70's/80's NASA Aerospace influences are especially clear to see in the VF-1J "Hikaru Ichijo T.V." variant;

Do you work in the aerospace industry? Or... how cooooool would this be... are you posting to the forum from the International Space Station?

Okay, probably not the latter.

But your forum bio indicates that you do live near a Top Secret Government Military site, so... uhm... yeah, okay, no more questions.  right

That gigantic transformer jet fighter is wicked keen!
