davidd’s A DOLL A DAY 2021

Looks windy. And cool. At least cool for Florida. But it looks like a beautiful beach. I would love to run on it.

The beach looks so inviting, and Tris looks happy collecting shells. Like Elfy said, it's hard to find the appropriately sized shells for dolls. we have troubles finding Pullip-sized ones when we are at the beach.

I'm always on the lookout for mini shells whenever I'm on a beach or a riverbank. I love shells, I love mini stuff, and I have two sailor girls living in a nautical-themed room, so they are simply a must have prop in this household smile I had better luck with riverbanks so far - early last year was especially lucky, when on one afternoon I managed to collect two jars (Pullip-sized jars, that is) full of them. One is neatly displayed in the girls' room.

I love the colours and the angle of this picture (and yay, a lighthouse!) smile The girls seem to be enjoying being on an adventure again.

They look especially tiny here. But they also look like they’re figuring out how to get to the top.

I’ve been to St Augustine, a long time ago. If I’d known there was a lighthouse I would have hunted it down.

Love a light house - is this one sepia-toned, or did you alter the colours.

Great angle it’s taken in too.

How to get to the top? 219 steps and a $12 admission fee.  LOL
(Of course they climbed to the top! The cast iron circular stairs are marvelously impressive!)

These days the lighthouse features prominently on billboard signs at the city limits and on all the promotional literature. Apparently that was not always the case. As recently as the early 1980s plans were underway to demolish all the original structures on the lighthouse grounds, including the immense 1870s keepers house, and possibly to remove the lighthouse. A private non-profit civic group spent millions of dollars in court fighting to preserve everything, and now operates the site.

The light tower is a crisp, well maintained bright white and black pattern. I’ve given the image a slight “aged” effect. Capturing a photo of 4 inch tall Pinky figures with a 140 foot tall tower offered a bit of a challenge. I was surprised it worked out as well as it did.

That's fantastic! I've never seen a lighthouse that colour. Most of the ones we have here are white. The closest I've seen is the one in Lauceston, which is striped red and white.

I feel like a "Pinkies Tour Lighthouses" would make for a very cool calendar. And you only have ten more to go...

Awesome photo, and what a vibrant-coloured lighthouse this one is! I continue to be envious of the pinkies, they're visiting so many cool places on your current trip!

I'd totally pay for a calendar featuring them visiting lighthouses. In fact, I'd totally pay for two - my mother-in-law loves lighthouses, and such a calendar would make a great gift also for her.

Haha, they're so cute on the big beach. Looks like all these beaches are pretty deserted?
Cool composition on the lighthouse one. A Pinkies tour calendar would be a fun idea.

They do love the water. Maybe they need a boat?
