Ok, THIS one is a lot of work. I can say this is the first theme I've been really stumped on, for, like, days. Finally inspiration struck and I've been having fun assembling a set.
Hope to see lots of entries. C'mon, new people -- you can play too grin

Alliecat, so sorry you felt stumped! I thought that if i made it a bit cryptic everyone would be able to give there own twist to it: too much, plenty, no more, etc.

But I am happy to read you got an idea!
Looking forward to seeing the result of everyone!

Hina, am I allowed to participate on this round or should I wait untill the next one as Ichose the theme?

Winners can compete even if they choose the theme, I personally don't compete because I see everyone else's entries so I don't think my competiting would be fair.

I'm biding my time until Valentine goods go on sale. Then I definitely hope to put together a photo.

Absolutely! Don't apologize. You gave a good challenge and I really enjoyed working out a solution to it smile It's just unusual that I had NO decent idea at all for so long. When I did finally get going I really had fun with it. You should see my dining room. On top of the usual clutter is a riduculously jury-rigged setup! LOL
And it really is interesting to see the different interpretations of the themes.

LOL. I was in the grocery store on Friday and all the Valentine chocolate was gone. There was a sad little container of tiny inflatable hearts on sticks, and the rest of the shelf... was... EASTER chocolate.
AUGH!!
Hope you guys have better luck. I'm done anyway smile

WHAT?? I think the stores are getting kind of smart, though, and stocking less holiday stuff - I seem to remember the good Xmas candy was gone a day or two after, leaving only a few sad remains. I haven't gone yet but will probably go out tomorrow to see what's there. Sometimes the drug stores have more in stock than grocery stores, though, FYI. (I kind of hate that I know this.)

Anyway, still have not done my pic because I still have not put up my shelf and cleaned my table. I'm trying to remember how many months this has been on my to do list...

OMG! I was on the hunt for conversation hearts. You know, the ones that taste like chalk and have little messages on them? ONE tiny box!? What is the world coming to, when even those are non-existent 2 days after V-day?? Admittedly, there was some of the junky Hershey's valentine stuff, but I vowed not to forgive them for preventing (actual good) UK/European chocolates to stop being imported, and they changed the Cadbury egg recipe to not even use real chocolate anymore. (That was for my husband. He loves them.) eh... maybe I'll get over it, but I prefer to hit up the local Japanese market and get chocolates and candies there instead. But it doesn't help in the hunt for Valentine's day leftovers. Cry

Heh. Well, if they put out seasonal stuff 2 months in advance (the Valentine cards were out at the dollar store right after New Year's, if I recall), I'm not surprised they cleared it all away immediately. But you'd think they'd want to sell it off. I heard about the Hershey's/UK chocolate thing. Maybe you will have to do a Japanese Valentine photo! smile

LOL One can never have "Too Much" chocolate from Japan, but it can definitely be Too expensive. Checked another store tonight though. Found some perfectly acceptable Dove chocolates, that were purchased for the greater good of pulliptography of course, and I managed to find a couple more conversation hearts too.
