That seems like a very perfect setting for little Will! Can I ask what the books are about?

Thanks! Most of it is a very pretty book about Leonardo da Vinci, made to resemble his famous journals (he's sitting on it). It has a lot of inserts made of copies of pages from the real journals, that's the open notebook behind him and the brown envelope. The book on the left is a small paperblanks notebook, and the tiny book on the right is very nicely made maquette that came with him, it's his Fairy Bible.

Intriguing, mysterious photo! And the face is not too dark; the shadows simply add to the mystery of who this scholar might be. (Plus, his eye seems to almost glow despite the shadowy face, making him appear rather spooky!)

Thank you! As for who he might be, that actually is a mystery, I haven't decided yet...

I imagine him in some previous-century eccentric inventor's studio...

He would certainly feel right at home at such place!
