I like how her green dress and blue-green hair suggest foliage in relation to the orchid blossoms.
that is one of the green dresses I drooled over in your previous pics! Truly gorgeous photo, her hair with the dress, the necklace looks same colour as the stem of the orchid & the orchid just brings it all into one delicious colour palette

Pretty.... the green & purple go nicely together here. I was another fan of that dress in your previous photos. Hope you can get the orchid to rebloom

Agree! I like the combo of the dress with the orchid.
Nothing to say that everyone else hasn't said but SO PRETTY!
Thanks all, it was a spur of the moment thing when I was tring out different ideas for the B&W challenge.
This week is my Journey Girl, Elinor (she was originally called Kelsey). Her dress was knitted by me last week, I need to add a ribbon around the waist still, but I only have one that is the same colour as the dress, and I want a contrast.

Your Journey Girl, Elinor/Kelsey, certainly has a realistic face! Her eyes are very pretty... but do they follow you around the room during the day... or during the night?
She is cute. Is it me or does it seem like her face is a little more mature than her body/size?

Nice job on the knitting.
Elinor generally lives in the downstairs hall, with my 2 toddler Disney Princesses (I've got Snow White & Belle), because her eyes do follow me around the room...
I'm not sure how "old" Journey Girls are supposed to be, but their premise is travelling to different countries, so maybe very early teens?
I don't photograph her all that often, as she's not as poseable at the Pullips or even Ever After High / Monster High dolls.
Today's photo was inspired by watching Pirates of the Caribbean over the weekend. (and that I got Rovam's stock last week).
Poor Daisy was made to walk the plank by the Dread Pirate Becky

Shiver me timbers! That be a scurvy pair o' pretty pirates, to be sure! I pity the dear damsel about to visit Davy Jones. I hope she can swim... or wade.
(Walking the plank into the tiny wading pool is too funny! I love this!)
Aaahhh that's so cute!! XD

I hope she didn't get her curls too wet or meet any sharks in the water.
your Journey Girl is lovely. I haven't seen their faces properly before. I like her a lot.
Your pirates arrrggghhh shivering their timbers all over the place

Very cute pic.
