This was a doll I was commissioned to make for Christmas by a local family. She has long left my household because she is with her loving owners now, but I miss her. I haven't made very many dolls so she might look rough around the edges if you are a professional artist or veteran collector of customs , but I am happy with how she turned out, and the couple I made her for was thrilled. She is Ooak from my a mocha mio kit.

Since today is Candlemas, I thought this might be a good day to share the angel I made in honor of the festival of lights. I got the idea of putting candles in her hair in a wreath of flowers from one of the heroines of the American Girl series books Kirsten. I remember how special she looked on St. Lucia Day, so that was part of the inspiration. The dress is a Monster High outfit I bought from a talented Russian artist on Etsy named Anastasiya Avvakumtseva. Here is her store FukaEri Shop. If you want to support her work.

I named the doll Lucy.

Whoops, accidentally quoted myself, clumsy me. Didn't mean to bump my own thread. Sorry.
She's quite lovely and... seasonal! Is she modeled after a Dickens A Christmas Carol ghost?
She’s beautiful.

The candles in the head-wreath are interesting, and the rest of the outfit is so pretty.
Love her gold eyelids, and the dress and flower crown are lovely!
She's cute, and the candles in her hair are an amazing idea and touch. I love all the snowflakes in her outfit, too.
She looks rather tropical to me, with the flower crown as a haku lei. It's nice that the people you made her for were so pleased.
