This year's Halloween had a very special pumpkin that my garden made for me!  I have tons of roasted seeds, a pile of guts to make muffins with a little later, and when I'm finished enjoying him lit up, he should provide loads of puree.  Don't waste your pumpkins!

Happy H'Aloha'ween to you too! I love so much about this. The one with Poppy casually leaning against the pumpkin is great, and how Dawn and Daesani are just chilling by the pineapple. I always love your adirondack chair and the life ring. Then of course the minis have to preserve their hard partying reputation.

How exciting you get yoor own pumpkin for carving this year! And excellent work on using as much as possible of it.

The minis have a well-deserved rep for having the best parties - and it looks like the Octotiber party is going to rival the Christmas party soon too.

Your crew’s pineapple carving skills are improving! Sharp clean lines, not easy to achieve in a juicy, sticky pineapple!

Thanks, everyone! Mr. Pumpkin had 23 chocolate-chip muffin children the other night, and the rest of him is now in the freezer, 6 2/3 cups of purée!!
These low-light shoots are a lot of work, but I enjoy the challenge of playing with the light.
