Wow! How did we get here? Was that really a year, or did I just dream it Knots Landing style?
Anyway, apparently it is actually now 2022 and our Pullips have jumped into it.
To welcome the New Year in and also our two new additions, some of the girls had an ice cream party outside.
Hello Summer, says Felicity (summer actually started a month ago, but the weather has only really started to cooperate over the past week or two). She's probably also welcoming Edith and Arianwen to the family.
Ice cream me, sister!
Two of the Elemental Sisters (Nyxie - Water and Esther - Air) enjoy their ice creams on the swing.
Mmmm....ice cream! Edith is really enjoying her kiwi fruit ice cream.
Happy 2022 everyone! I'll be here all year.
Excelent start to the New Year with an Ice-Cream party!
Edith is adorbs!
Love all the sunny summery ice cream pic!
And I knew what you meant, but...
ermm.... it was the other one.

Never really watched either, but because a season of Dallas was a dream that also logically extended to Knots Landing. Yeah, I know logic and soap operas are not on speaking terms.
Yay! Glad to see you'll continue with a doll a week
Looks like the ice cream party was fun to set up. They have great furniture. We've all admired the swing before but the chair is neat too.
Some of us will have to enjoy the sun from photos like these... I haven't seen much in ages

This! I am vicariously enjoying your summer
I missed last week. Combination of being away and then password issues. However, because of that you get 2 weeks of dolly adventure this week.
Last week to celebrate Lejays birthday, we took a trip to Bendigo. We stayed at a cabin on winery, was very pleasant. Amelia and Jo-Meg made the trip with us. These shots give everyone a little bit of an idea or a dolls eye perspective on things.
A view of the dam from the back porch of the cabin.
Amelia and Jo-Meg admire the view from inside the cabin.
Here they are all excited to have arrived and have some pretty scenery to look at.
Back at home this week, Edith did a bit of e
loring.
The Groot shaped pot was a Christmas gift from family. Edith is standing in it before we put plant in it.
Fun shot of Edith with the pot, she looks like she's having great time so far.
Jo-Meg & Amelia were very pleased with their trip!
The cabin looks like a marvelous place to stay! How far from home is this place? How long were you away?
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to LeJays!
Has there been much rain in your part of the country? I understand that some areas have received a lot of rain this winter season.
It looks like your little friends want to get outside! Were they able to at all?
Nice that you could have a little getaway.
The pot is funny. What will you plant?

They've been forecasting rain, but overall we haven't had much. There was a massive thunderstorm on the way to Bendigo. We had to pull off to the side of the road and wait for it to pass. We couldn't see anything even with the wipers on full. That's been the only rain of any significance since the new year. It can hold off for a week or two unless the Australian Open is over as far as I'm concerned. Bendigo is about 2 hours drive from home. We were away for 3 nights.

Despite how big it looks to a Pullip the pot doesn't have a lot of room inside it. We bought a little succulent that will drape it's branches over the top and cascade down as it grows.
Had a busy weekend, so I'm late. Went to a swanky cocktail party on Saturday night, and now we're in the middle of a heatwave. When all else fails. Dolls with Flowers!
Flowers
We bought some random flowers last year. They took a while to flower, but they haven't stopped since they started and the blooms are quite stunning. Edith loves them.
Those are pretty petunias. Would be nice if they lasted longer than a year here.
Warmth, flowers, and swanky cocktail parties? You’re living the life now, aren’t you?
Are you saying that the Melbs area has gone from military enforced lockdowns to swanky cocktail parties? That’s quite a swing, isn’t it? Or… did you work your way in to the elite circles to whom the rules for the masses do not apply?
Which dollies went to the cocktail shindig?
