2018 has been so very difficult for me. It began with my husband's leukemia diagnosis in March. He was fortunate to have been treated by wonderful medical teams, both here in Hawaii, and then in Seattle, WA. It was hard, and a struggle, but he was a fighter and persevered in the face of adversity. Sadly, he suffered major complications from his double-cord-blood (stem-cell) transplant, and passed on in November 2018. We are broken right now--I miss my husband & my children miss their dad. I realize our time here on Earth is temporary, happiness is fleeting, and sorrow touches everyone--but that makes life all the more precious. It's what you do with the time you have that counts...
I dabble in making eyechips and hawk them in my etsy shop. Besides that, I'm a librarian in a public library, in addition to my other full-time job as mom. I have lots of interests that include (but aren't limited to) Japanese dorama, manga, make-up & beauty, reading, cooking, baking, videogames. Some things that make me happy are chocolate, a great cup of coffee, dolls, my kids.
I've always had dolls, but I've never been the sort to keep them cooped up in their boxes. While I'm not seeking to add any more dolls to my collection, there are still ways some of them can sneak in. |
