RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 05-31-2020 Honey does look very relaxed in the flower-pot. I hope the tatiana appreciates the effort she's put in. Oh, and for those interested in Audrey - we had roast lamb tonight, and put some rosemary in with it. If we suddenly stop posting here, Audrey's broken into the house & done away with us... RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 05-31-2020 I love Honey's outfit! I hope you can make up with Audrey. Tell her that a little bit of lopping is good for a tree beautiful flower like her. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 05-31-2020 It’s a Barbie outfit. I’m sure Audrey will recover from having a couple of sprigs removed to make our dinner tastier. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - werepuppy - 05-31-2020 Honey does seem to know what she is doing RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Loona - 06-01-2020 I wish Honey could travel here, her visibly great ex.pertise would be welcome here. My girls' interaction with my plants usually does not go beyond standing next to them and posing with them I hope Audrey didn't mind. Tell her that certain types of plants need to be occasionally trimmed for them to remain strong and beautiful. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 06-01-2020 I am envious of what passes for "winter gardening" in Australia. Only this week are we finally having night-time temps that are not dropping below freezing, and this is supposed to be summer! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Alliecat - 06-01-2020 Ahh, communing with the soil and the growing things. Always good for you (05-31-2020, 07:03 PM)Lejays17 Wrote: ... we had roast lamb tonight, and put some rosemary in with it. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 06-07-2020 This week's photograph is in honour of International Donut Day, which was Friday: Belle has never seen a donut before. Belle: What is this? Finn: It's a donut. Trust me, you'll love it. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 06-07-2020 I thought this was some kind of face-off or stand-off, as they were waiting to see who made the first lunge for the last donut! Finn is such a gentleman. Or he has ulterior motives. Ply her with sugar.... RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 06-07-2020 Finn is just lulling Belle into a false sense of security before nicking the doughnut out from under her nose. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 06-07-2020 Aaaaand I'm craving doughnuts now. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - werepuppy - 06-07-2020 Now I want a donut. Also, how kind of Finn. Unless he's planning to pull it away for himself at the last minute. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - dargosmydaddy - 06-08-2020 By doll standards, that's a very large doughnut. They could definitely share and both be satisfied. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Loona - 06-08-2020 (06-07-2020, 08:40 PM)neon_jellyfish Wrote: Aaaaand I'm craving doughnuts now. Me too. I can't say it's only the photo's fault though, because I'm quite often craving donuts (what I am willing to eat is unavailable locally). Fun fact for neon_jellyfish: I never had anything against donuts, but I've never been that big fan either - that is, until one day some years ago we stumbled upon a vegan donutery in Brno. Ever since I've often found myself craving donuts - and yeah, I'm totally always ready to stop in the city to grab a dounut there if we're in the Czech Republic. I love the photo! Belle looks so innocent and serene, while Finn, well, he looks mischievous. If I was Belle, I'd approach the dohut with caution. And I love the added touch of the pair of those Aussie plugs that look like worried faces (our plugs are just a pair of round dots) - they totally look like they know something bad is about to happen RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Alliecat - 06-08-2020 Belle seems to be gazing so lovingly & longingly at that donut! |
