RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 07-08-2020 They're about a head taller than a Pullip, and obviously wider. We preferred the originals with the button eyes. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 07-12-2020 Wet and cold here, so definitely bear weather (well if they were real bears they'd be hibernating, but we only have the plush kind and they live inside). ![]() Here Mama Bear knits and watches the baby bears play. They're all Forever Friends Bears of various sizes and types. We have 4 of the little ones without costumes, but I could only locate 2. They're free range bears and tend to wander all over the house, I'm sure some of them hide when its photo time. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - dargosmydaddy - 07-12-2020 They look like they're plotting something... ![]() RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Alliecat - 07-12-2020 Free range bears ![]() I had the same thought as dargosmydaddy. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 07-12-2020 The little ones are planning the games to play to cause maximum disturbance & annoyance to Mama Bear - who just wants a quiet couple of hours to herself. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 07-12-2020 Is one of them dressed like a bee? Is that a disguise for raiding honey trees? RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 07-12-2020 (07-12-2020, 02:23 PM)davidd Wrote: Is one of them dressed like a bee? Is that a disguise for raiding honey trees? That one is indeed dressed as a bumblebee, and knowing our collection of baby bears it probably is planning to raid a hive somewhere. If I can find it I should send you The Great Bunny Bear Chocolate Caper; a short story I wrote about what the bears get up to when we’re not at home. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 07-12-2020 Turning unbearable weather into bear weather is interesting strategy! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Loona - 07-12-2020 Little Bee Bear looks like it has just arrived and is leaning closer, eager to know what the other two are discussing. I find the disguise-for-raid idea totally clever and cute. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 07-12-2020 It’s possible that the bee bear is trying to outline her cunning plan to steal the honey (or should that be hunny?) to the other 2. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - werepuppy - 07-12-2020 I hope their plan to get honey goes well! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 07-19-2020 Because there's been a bit of Buffy discussion on the board this week and I said I'd do it, here's a shot of Lejays Spike and Angel plushies. This is taken from the episode of Angel called Smile Time where they were both turned into puppets. ![]() Two vampire bros hanging out. I figure Spike is sitting down because he's had too much to drink (the real reason is that being a plushy, he's quite soft and doesn't stand up all that well), or Angel punched him. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 07-19-2020 Ghoulish guys! Pretty scary for plushies! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 07-19-2020 I’m going with Angel punched him. They have that type of “friendship”. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 07-19-2020 (07-19-2020, 01:15 PM)davidd Wrote: Ghoulish guys! Pretty scary for plushies! If you ever see the actual episode, it is hysterical! Unsurprisingly Ben 'the Tick' Edlund had something to do with it. |
