I don’t have any Barbies from when I was a kid - oldest of the family so they would have been passed down - but I do have my teddy.

Barbies that survived my childhood are this Teresa, then Cinderella Barbie from 1992 and Disney The Hunchback of Notre Dame Esmeralda from 1995 (in her signature dress). I also had Glitter Hair Barbie (the red hair version - she wasn't a Teresa, it was Barbie sculpt, but had red hair) from 1993, My First Barbie - A Glittering Ballerina from 1991 - the blue dress variant and Magical Hair Mermaid Barbie with purple hair from 1993. The remaining two were typical blonde Barbies and I have no idea which releases they were. I miss my old Barbies, especially my Glitter Hair redhead, and now and then, I'm tempted to get them, but other dolls always get the priority.

All the Novis are adorable, but the one with the swirly/stripy face (and legs) is particularly awesome!

The "black light effect" filtered version looks rad! Definitely album cover material!
(Too bad "albums" are such a dinosaur relic of a concept, even on CD, these days.)

Yeah, the stripey one is amazing! I've seen a few of them now thanks to forum members, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen this one.
Maybe some people whose brains are in a more creative gear than mine is today could help them come up with some song titles. Or a band name.

Thank you! She's Mimi Merize, and her theme is hypnosis (hence the swirls).

(When I was a kid I liked going through my parents' collection and listen to CDs with pretty album covers. I discovered a lot of neat music!)

I've featured Mimi in previous challenges, but only a few times. Novis aren't exactly poseable, so I don't take many photos of them.
It's not like they're serious about being a band, it's more of that childish "we're so cool, we would make an awesome band" way of thinking

Since we're riding the vintage nostalgia wave, I decided to show you some of oldest members of my crew. Hula Hair Teresa is one of my oldest dolls, but I have toys that are older than her (or the other two Barbies). I've had this panda family and the pony baby (and a PollyPocket, but I think that one's at my parents' place) since I was three, so they've been with me for 28 years.
Monty is there for doll representation and as a composition aid.

We've been having super windy weather for over a week now, and I'm constantly on the verge of fainting, so today's post sucks. I wasn't able to do a poster from my list again, I just did a random quickie with very rough shading. Also, I couldn't get the white ballance right for the life of me, so it's all too blue, Amanita's hair and the flower petals are more purplish IRL.
