No long, trailing scarves for Izzy, then. We do ya e a few, but for some reason Izzy avoids them. Just as long as we don’t let her in our little Jeep while wearing one. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 08-04-2020 So Izzy's name isn't Isabella, but Isadora? That's Her Insane Majesty's first name! What a lovely coincidence! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 08-09-2020 Weather here has continued to be not much chop, but we did get some sun today and three of the girls took advantage of it. The nature sisters: Jo-Meg, Tansy and Sophie on the grass playing with the Pullip family's puppies. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 08-09-2020 Walking the dog turned in to... sitting with the dog? Not very ambitious, are these Nature Sisters? It must be that vegan thing, they have no stamina. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 08-09-2020 (08-09-2020, 02:24 PM)davidd Wrote: Walking the dog turned in to... sitting with the dog? Now they were sitting letting the puppies play and enjoying being outside. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 08-09-2020 They look like they're having fun, letting the puppies run around after their walk. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 08-09-2020 They're so pretty!!! And they do look like sisters. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - werepuppy - 08-09-2020 Aw, such lovely sisters and such cute puppers. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Alliecat - 08-10-2020 Cute. Sophie looks a little uncertain there... "Not much chop" is an Aussie-ism I hadn't heard before so I looked it up. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 08-10-2020 (08-10-2020, 08:28 AM)Alliecat Wrote: Cute. Sophie looks a little uncertain there... I thought someone may pick up on that little bit of strine. Try reading C.J Dennis’ The Sentimental Bloke. I was born and bred here and at times even I wondered if parts of that were written in a language other than English. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 08-16-2020 Our camellias have started to elode into flower, so I thought I'd use this week's photo to show off a couple. Daisy was delighted to find out that our new arrival Sophie also likes flowers. Sophie's not really a gardener like Daisy, but try telling Daisy that. These are from two of our camellia's. We have three. The two here are the prettiest. Sophie had the pink one and the one Daisy has is from the one that produces flowers that are both red and white. We have another one which has pure white flowers, but its smaller and I didn't want to pick any of it's flowers just yet. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 08-16-2020 Cute flowers. Cute dollies! Happy to see new girl Sophie! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 08-16-2020 The pink camellia is amazing when it's in full-flower - we will have to get a few shots with it once it's in full-bloom. The other two are smaller, but just as nice. The varigated pink/red/white one is always interesing to see what colours the flowers will be each year, as it's never the same each time. Daisy is very pleased to have someone else who likes flowers - even if Sophie prefers them in the wild to those that are picked. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Alliecat - 08-16-2020 Ooooo, pretty. Are they fragrant? The red and white one would be a perfect flower to grow in Canada wish I could. |
