RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - ByronicHeroine - 06-25-2012 I have a Private Teacher Sebastian...and Robin Ciel was the one I was liking...bad True. Stop tempting me when I'm still trying to recover from PUDDLE. I'll probably cave soon... RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - TrueFan - 06-25-2012 *evil laugh* RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - TrueFan - 07-28-2012 Just a reminder to one and all - this is only three weeks away! We probably need to start firming things up. I am definitely planning on being there Saturday and/or Sunday. Can everyone else update the thread with your plans? RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - ByronicHeroine - 07-28-2012 Still planning on dinner at the very least. RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - babelglyph - 07-30-2012 Saturday is not ideal for me, but I could make it work. I work until four, so I'm free starting at 5 both days. RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - ravenwcatz - 07-30-2012 OH HEY. HI GUYS. Um. The 18th *could* work for me, but it is opening weekend for the Big Lebowski Burlesque... The show's at 10, so as long as I was on my way by dinner time... But the 19th is probably better. I have no shows on that date. RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - TrueFan - 08-06-2012 OK, I plan to be at the gates when the Faire opens at 10 am on August 19, one or more dolls in hand. Here is more info on the faire if you are interested: http://www.renfair.com/bristol/ Also, if you'd like to exchange cell phone numbers send me a PM. RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - babelglyph - 08-09-2012 I will be staying with family in the suburbs and I hope to meet you there at 10am! RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - ByronicHeroine - 08-10-2012 Any ideas on what you guys would like for dinner? Or where you would like to go? If you're around for the weekend True, there's an outlet mall in Pleasant Prairie that I like to hit. They have a Ghirardelli store RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - TrueFan - 08-11-2012 Ah, the Pleasant Prairie outlet - a great place to shop! Unfortunately, I will be driving home (four hours) after dinner Sunday night. I checked and the outlet mall doesn't open until 10 am on Sunday. I'm hoping we can find a place for dinner that's near the ren faire. RE: August 18-19: Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI - ByronicHeroine - 08-11-2012 So the problem is, there's not really anything out there. There's the food at the outlet, which is your basic fast food, and I'm not sure what time they are open to. The next option has everyone driving north, or me having to drive all the way to Illinois. There's a load of stuff on Hwy 50, which is about 3-4 miles north of where you get on to I-94 leaving the Ren Faire. |
