RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 2) - Marsian - 04-21-2015 Kailani looks so at home at the beach, I can her her and Sunsette going on many adventures. RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 2) - Jencut - 04-21-2015 Aw Kailani is gorgeous! And it's so sweet of Sunsette to keep her company on her first trip into the great outdoors RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 2) - PullipPrincess - 04-21-2015 I like the name Kailani for her! It's very pretty. :3 I really love her overall look too, especially that hair color! She's probably my most favorite Little Pullip dolls out of the ones I have seen so far! RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 2) - Alliecat - 04-22-2015 Thank you, all "Seafoam coloured hair"... I really tried to find some word that meant "sea foam" or "sea breeze" or something, that sounded like it fit her! Nothing was quite right. She does look at home on the beach, although, with that outfit, she's not very poseable. I couldn't really find a dry place to set her down, and it was like "EEEK, she's got wet sand on the bottom of her dress; this is supposed to be a display doll..." I think her outings will be somewhat limited... I don't see her tramping through the woods or falling down hills with Sunsette! RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 25) - Alliecat - 04-25-2015 I think she really likes the beach She got an Earth Day photoshoot on another beach. Looks like she's just walking ashore. Checking out her reflection in a tide pool. A much nicer waterfall setting. The value of yoga becomes apparent when balancing precariously in the middle of waterfalls on wet beach rocks. I hope the guys in the boat didn't have binoculars; they'd wonder what in the world I was doing... We found these in the backyard. Although there is still snow in the woods, these give some hope! RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 25) - Kyubi09 - 04-26-2015 Beautiful pictures. She is a really photogenic doll. I really like the reflection picture. On a side note, I love cold rocky beaches. When I was a kid we went to the beach on the border of Maine and New Hampshire, where the water didn't get above the 40s until August! Who needs Florida or Santa Monica when you've got that? :-D RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 25) - Cornflower Blue - 04-26-2015 Yes, that reflection photo is really cool! RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 25) - PullipPrincess - 04-26-2015 So pretty! I agree with Kyubi and Cornflower Blue, the photo of her looking at her reflection is amazing, and so is the one where she's by the waterfall! The scenery is just perfect for her! RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 25) - Little mouse - 04-28-2015 I love those photos of her at the beach! Wow! RE: Is the new girl a mermaid...? (new pix April 25) - Alliecat - 04-29-2015 Thank you everybody She is very photogenic; I think she looks quite regal, and her eression doesn't seem to change with angles of the light like Sunsette's does. I'd be happy to see a warm tropical beach right now... really, cold and rocky wears thin after months of winter! ...the crocuses are gone before I got all the pix I wanted of minis with them. Eaten by deer or mooshed by the rain. |
