RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 12-26-2020 Marvelous! Made me think I need to do an Xmas party with my dolls next year. You could do a New Year party this year! Nah, no setting up group photos won't not happen no more (did I ex!!!press the negation sufficiently enough? ), definitely not this year, I'm way too tired for that. Made me think I need to do an Xmas party with my dolls next year. We always have such grand visions for next year, don't we? RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - Loona - 12-30-2020 Danbo is so cute, and I agree with his surprisingly great level of ex-pressiveness, I don't know how he does it, but it works. The one where he's standing in the crib cracked me up, his ex-pression fits in there so well! It shows that you've put a lot of effort into these pictures, the lights and the little details are lovely! The minis seem to have appreciated it, and had a lot of fun! I was looking at the pictures while listening to the songs you linked, and it felt as if I was there, partying merrily with them! They really got me into the mood I must admit that me and my girls are an itty bit jealous of the lovely mini tree the girls have there... My girls didn't end up with Christmas decorations in time this year (either...) - I'm not disappointed at myself this time, because this year I at least managed to start (baby steps...) and I like what I made so far: tree decorations, a wreath and a mini tabletop tree, but I managed to injure myself while attempting to make an "actual" Christmas tree for the girls, which boycotted finishing both the tree and the rest of their room, in which the tree would have stood. That's my main issue with DIY: we seem to have this love/hate relationship. I love doing it, but I'm *really* bad at being careful, and the projects often end abruptly due to me accidentally stabbing/cutting/burning myself I'm so familiar with this script already that I learned to just laught at myself, but the delays caused are annoying. I still plan to continue and finish the tree still this season, even if it will be late. RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - Alliecat - 01-03-2021 Thank you very much, everyone I love doing those low-light shots; you never know quite what you're going to get, and light-painting with the flashlight is a challenge to get the right amount of light in the right places. I hope it wasn't a serious injury, and that you can get your project finished after all. Share some photos if you do! One more holiday photodump comin! Since I haven't put up my own tree in... a while... I got all the mileage I could out of the library tree. A few more of the crew went this week for their turn with the decorations. Andreya kind of matches the lovely 'blue tree'. As does Sunny with her beautiful blue eyes & party dress. I liked this little jar but it really needs a better setting than a shelf behind the circ. desk. Kailani & Marie liked it too. Marie & friend, on an even-worse-located shelf. Finally, Catalina in her party gown was another nice match for the colours of the tree. I "think" I'm all Christmas-shot'ed out, but I thought that before the second round this week. The boss will probably decree the tree be put away next week, so I "think" we're done for this year. Thanks for looking! RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - davidd - 01-03-2021 Looks like you and the dolly crew commandeered the entire library! Another slow day, huh? Fun series of pics! RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - Elfy - 01-03-2021 Catalina seems particularly taken by the baubles that match her gown. RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - dargosmydaddy - 01-03-2021 Ooh, those are some magical photos! Christmas decorations make for great props. I kept meaning to do more with mine this year, but it never quite happened... RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - Alliecat - 01-05-2021 Thanks, guys Yep, it was another slow holiday-season afternoon! Some of the photos were taken during my lunch when we we closed, but I did kind of push it with the ones behind the circ desk, because the other two had to work around me. Thanks to "social distancing", they couldn't get near enough for me to be in the way anyway, I guess. We're all steering wide circles around one another dargos, if you are like me and leave your Christmas stuff up till mid-January, you could still do it... Share some photos if you do! Thank you no, luckily it wasn't serious - they seldom are, they are usually just badly-placed, thus keeping me away from handicrafts for a number of days. I'm mostly good now, so I was since able to continue making the tree. I've now decided that the girls will have a Christmas-themed room for some time even if I don't finish things until spring XD it'd give me some nostalgy: we also kept our Christmas tree up for a long time every year when I was a child, one year we only took it down in March (ok, that was weird) Lovely photodump! Andreya looks gorgeous with the deep green background the tree is providing (though her being the ultimate J-doll for me, I really don't see how she could look not gorgeous ^^) - but Sunny does too! They are such a lovely pair, and Sunny looks really cute in that baby blue dress. The little jar with the frosted effect and snowflakes is something I'd totally pick up too, it looks super cool! Well, I leave mine till mid-January due to laziness, mostly. There are still some houses all lit up so I'm wondering how long I can get away with not taking my little string of lights in. They're a small display, but cheerful. Hope you'll share some photos of your room when you get it done. I didn't set this up. I found them like this. "...tell me, me oh me oh my, wasn't that a party..." RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - dargosmydaddy - 01-07-2021 LOL! RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - Elfy - 01-07-2021 Those minis party hard! RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Christmas 2020 - Lejays17 - 01-07-2021 They do love a party! Sounds like some more than others given the face-plant of one of them |
