I just love the flower series. I love how all your dolls match them in some way! Beautiful picture of Crimson Veritas(?); she looks absolutely stunning!

Victoria is so so stunning. The red against the pale background, and the pretty daffodils / jonquils (I can never remember the difference).

Heh. Something was definitely needed. I had to do the entire thing twice (counting rough + good copies, that's FOUR times) first because I made a mistake and then because the brokerage office made a mistake. Auwe!!!! Irritated

I don't typically carry dolls around the house with me stroking their hair, but if I'm going to, it's Victoria.
Jonquils are a type of daffodil, but not all daffodils are jonquils.

This month's Dal House photo challenges were a series of "this or that" prompts. I didn't have time to do many, but squeezed in a few at the end.

"Tea or coffee"

"Pizza or burger"

"Early bird or night owl". I think everybody here knows the answer to that one. That's noon, not midnight...

"Star Wars or Star Trek" AND "book or movie"
In some cases, both... I do think SW has the cooler universe. The minis seem pretty definite about their choice.

"Cookie or donut". ...only because we haven't got any donuts at the minute...

"Sci-fi or fantasy". Well, again, both, although SF is my first love in fiction. This was intended to be an outdoor shot on the rocks out back, but it rained all day so I had to improvise.

Lovely collection. I'm usually fantasy over sci-fi when it comes to fiction. SF and I never used to play well together, but with the help of authors like Becky Chambers we've mended a few fences.

Got a little time to do a photoshoot this week. A while ago we received a little package of cute tropical floral hairclips from Loona, who unfortunately also seems to have left the forum... hopefully she will pop in sometime & see them. Anyway, they're very cute and so we had to do a summer fashion photoshoot with them.

Our new girl Glorianna (Glori) had a photoshoot the day she arrived. I didn't realize the light was so poor till I went over these and had to greatly adjust the contrast. We'll have to try it on a sunny day. Anyway, here's another Dolls With Flowers blitz!

First with the wonderful lilac.
Girl's a star.... Nailed her very first frame.

I mean, doesn't she look absolutely delighted to be here?

"I want to sit down! Please help me find a body!"

And a bunch of lazily-handheld stuff in the lupin patch!

She looks like I feel about these flowers. From burned bare at the end of March, it's wonderful to see how lush and full of flowers the patch is now. A lot of them are over 4 feet high.

...camera loves her...

And the minis went to the beach for a few photos.

"Island feeling"... means having a beach in your backyard (well, almost)... even when the tide is out.

"Marine animals" -- mermaids absolutely count.

"Surf's up" ....
"Actually, it's not... But when you're four inches high, how much surf can you take? (Yeah, we know, Sunsette: small but mighty and no limits!)"
"... I guess we have time to go home and get our bathing suits..."
