RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - werepuppy - 10-18-2020 So much team spirit! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 10-19-2020 (10-18-2020, 08:13 PM)neon_jellyfish Wrote: Now that's a team spirit! I can't pretend I have the foggiest idea about any of this, but go Tigers! I live with him, and at times I don’t have a clue what he’s talking about! But Go Tigers is an appropriate response. I’ve been busy knitting a beanie & scarf in Geelong colours (blue & white), so we will have an appropriate “villianous” supporter in the crew next week. Not sure who is going to be the unlucky victim yet RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 10-25-2020 It was the AFL Grand Final here this week, and as my team (the Tigers) also Evie's team were in the 'big dance' against the Geelong Cats, I have a few photos around the whole thing. This is George, he's a Tiger themed garden gnome that I received as a Christmas present last year, he's a team mate of Jack, my other Tiger themed garden gnome. Before the game Evie made a shocking discovery. Her sister; Nova, is a Cats (they wear navy and white hoops) supporter! Some things even separate sisters. Nova: "But we were 22 points ahead in the 2nd quarter! What happened?" Evie: "Dustin Martin." Evie is a gracious victor and is consoling her devastated sister. Evie celebrates with her crew: the garden gnomes Jack and George, Daniel the duck, Jack the singing bear, Trent the dragon, Dusty the dog and Bachar the bear. Go the Mighty Tigers! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 10-25-2020 The mighty Tigers showed their might tonight, and really put on a show, didn't they? Trailing by 22 points, then coming from behind to win by more than thirty? Thirty? How could that happen? I'm sure Geelong is asking the same thing. Well, congrats to the Tigers fans in the household. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 10-25-2020 That's a great group of team supporters! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 10-25-2020 davidd, as Evie said to Nova - Dustin Martin happened Elfy, you've got a great collection of suitably-themed toys. And it's a very happy household today! except for poor Nova... RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - werepuppy - 10-25-2020 Ahhh congrats that your team won! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Alliecat - 10-26-2020 Evie's buried by her fellow fans! Poor Nova, she does look rather let down. Now those gnomes looks like they could have some photo/travel adventures too! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - dunneh - 10-26-2020 Cute photos! I'm ashamed to admit that I only found out the grand final results after viewing your pics. I'm a bad Australian. Haha. I appreciate that you have both Cats and Tiger fan clothes for your girls, that's super cute! RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 10-26-2020 (10-26-2020, 01:21 PM)dunneh Wrote: Cute photos! I appreciate that you have both Cats and Tiger fan clothes for your girls, that's super cute! We’ve also got Essendon (that’s my team), and Adelaide hat & beanie. I didn’t get round to making a Giants set last year. The guernsey that they are wearing is actually from a line of cologne/aftershave the AFL released in 2017. I was fortunate enough to find a Geelong bottle on Friday, otherwise she would have just had a hat & scarf. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - dunneh - 10-26-2020 Ahh! That's really cool, I didn't quite notice they had official jerseys at first. That's so cute! I'm really bad with AFL teams, I don't follow it closely at all. But I like that you made them rival sets, hope you do it for next years grand final. Little friendly rivalry never hurt. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Elfy - 11-02-2020 A little late this week, been a busy weekend. Theo and Felicity took advantage of the weather and the season to view the roses. As I am their official photographer and they couldn't decide which shot they liked best I gave then a selection. I do have to admit that the roses have come out a treat this spring. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - Lejays17 - 11-02-2020 They’re all great, I’m not surprised they couldn’t choose just one. I think I like the second the best. But the third is also good. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - davidd - 11-02-2020 Adorable photos! I'm partial to the third picture, as Theo and Felicity look as though they are truly enjoying the moment together. RE: Elfy's Doll a Week 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 11-02-2020 Seems like they had a lovely date! Glad to see them getting along so well after a bit awkward start. |
