In the early years of Monster High (2010, 2011, 2012) Mattel was extremely creative at producing elaborate packaging with the dolls and accessories. The "paper doll" figures seen here were part of the packaging for the first Monster High accessory clothing set to be offered, a "School Spirit Scream Team" (cheerleader costumes) set. The clothing items were displayed on these cardboard figures inside the packaging. The packaging was actually nicer than the little bits of fabric and plastic that were the actual "product." The seated figure was part of the Draculaura Sweet 1600 Roadster car packaging.

More cool than the products they were the packaging for!   LOL  I don't know what I've done with the Scream Team uniforms, but I still have these cardboard inserts.

I wonder if Mattel's re-issue of Monster High dolls this month will suppress the value of older dolls on the secondary market, or spur increased interest? Let's find out!

Yeah, some interest, including a "sob story" from somebody who wanted me to cancel the current bids and sell the lot to them "because I loved Monster High when I was a little girl, but when I left home my dad burned all my dolls..." blah blah blah.

What are the smart dolls building now? Another cabin? As usual, it looks like they are really doing the work. Also as usual, cool lighting in the “dungeon” shots.
I have to LOL at the “battle bikini”. Unfortunately it looks like the shoulder holster would chafe if you wore it with the bikini, so what are you supposed to take into battle?  LOL
