The fit of the new trousers looks good on these two.

I love that pirate tank top, 'natch. The wool sweater is really eye-catching, and looks "in scale" to the dollies, which is not always the case for knitted wear.

Haha, it's a sock. That was my first effort at making a sock sweater. It's really sloppy & saggy at the back and needs to be pulled back or pinned for photos.

Dunno where THAT week went sad

The J-Doll group on FB gives me a bit of a nudge to photograph them now & then. They really deserve more camera time.

I like Catalina in this new dress, and I like how she & Noelle look so opposite. They make a good photo pair. I think they'll be good friends.

I see what you mean in the caption to your other post about this being a challenging set-up to photograph. Pure black and pure white, the full range of contrast. Yet you managed to not "blow out" any of the highlights.

Those shoes are from Mimiwoo. For a while they had a lot of really great shoes.

Managed to squeak in on the very last day with an entry for the PUDDLE photo contest. Cherie is representing this year. Of course, I had to take a few more besides the entry shot.

Your photo of Cherie is quite appropriate. Today was the running of the Kentucky Derby horse race, which is almost as well known for the glamorous and stylish hats worn by the ladies in attendance. Cherie looks ready for derby day!

I wanted to do a shoot with Dae & Yuki in their stock outfits before I tried anything else on Yuki; still haven't done it; backyard not great for photos anymore etc. etc. etc.... slash

This didn't come off quite as I hoped; I really like the little patch of violets and thought it was a great sitting area for some minis, but, I did this in a hurry and it's not super exciting. Oh well.

That's a lot of little bits and pieces to keep in order during an outdoor shoot -- ribbons, hats, chairs -- and a lot of pretty hair to keep from getting wind-blown and frizzy. I'm impressed by your enthusiasm and ambition.

The violets look happy with the weather. The purple irises here are almost entirely gone already.

It was really just 5 pieces: 2 dolls, 2 chairs & a hat. And unlike some of the crew, neither of them have bits that fall off LOL
