RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#15, Apr. 11) - davidd - 04-13-2025 The fit of the new trousers looks good on these two. I love that pirate tank top, 'natch. The wool sweater is really eye-catching, and looks "in scale" to the dollies, which is not always the case for knitted wear. RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#15, Apr. 11) - Alliecat - 04-20-2025 (04-13-2025, 01:31 AM)davidd Wrote: .... The wool sweater is really eye-catching, and looks "in scale" to the dollies, which is not always the case for knitted wear.Haha, it's a sock. That was my first effort at making a sock sweater. It's really sloppy & saggy at the back and needs to be pulled back or pinned for photos. Dunno where THAT week went ![]() The J-Doll group on FB gives me a bit of a nudge to photograph them now & then. They really deserve more camera time. Grace & Charonne with Dallas. ![]() RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#16, Apr. 19) - davidd - 04-20-2025 That looks like a two-bite snack and a two-bite dessert for El Tigre! The J-Dolls have ex-pressive, attractive faces and cute hairstyles. RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#16, Apr. 19) - fishy - 04-24-2025 They're so pretty! ![]() RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#16, Apr. 25) - Alliecat - 04-26-2025 Thanks! I wish I had more time & motivation to take as many pictures as I used to. I wish I had the private yard to take pictures in, that I used to. ![]() I like Catalina in this new dress, and I like how she & Noelle look so opposite. They make a good photo pair. I think they'll be good friends. ![]() RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#16, Apr. 25) - davidd - 04-26-2025 I see what you mean in the caption to your other post about this being a challenging set-up to photograph. Pure black and pure white, the full range of contrast. Yet you managed to not "blow out" any of the highlights. Catalina's shoes are so cute! RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#17, May 3) - Alliecat - 05-04-2025 Those shoes are from Mimiwoo. For a while they had a lot of really great shoes. Managed to squeak in on the very last day with an entry for the PUDDLE photo contest. Cherie is representing this year. Of course, I had to take a few more besides the entry shot. ![]() RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#17, May 3) - davidd - 05-04-2025 Your photo of Cherie is quite appropriate. Today was the running of the Kentucky Derby horse race, which is almost as well known for the glamorous and stylish hats worn by the ladies in attendance. Cherie looks ready for derby day! RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#18, Happy Star Wars Day!) - Alliecat - 05-05-2025 I used to watch that, as a teen who loved horses. She does look like she would fit right in. Happy Star Wars Day!! ![]() ![]() RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#18, Happy Star Wars Day!) - davidd - 05-05-2025 YAY! Epic Jedi battle for Star Wars Day! Cool uniforms! I love your light saber effects! Very authentic looking! RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#18, Happy Star Wars Day!) - TrueFan - 05-05-2025 Love how the Dal's stock outfit looks perfectly normal in the Star Wars universe. RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#19, May 16) - Alliecat - 05-17-2025 Thank you both ![]() I wanted to do a shoot with Dae & Yuki in their stock outfits before I tried anything else on Yuki; still haven't done it; backyard not great for photos anymore etc. etc. etc.... ![]() This didn't come off quite as I hoped; I really like the little patch of violets and thought it was a great sitting area for some minis, but, I did this in a hurry and it's not super exciting. Oh well. ![]() Pam (Panda) & Jessie (Cheshire) RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#19, May 16) - davidd - 05-17-2025 That's a lot of little bits and pieces to keep in order during an outdoor shoot -- ribbons, hats, chairs -- and a lot of pretty hair to keep from getting wind-blown and frizzy. I'm impressed by your enthusiasm and ambition. The violets look happy with the weather. The purple irises here are almost entirely gone already. RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#20, May 23) - Alliecat - 05-24-2025 It was really just 5 pieces: 2 dolls, 2 chairs & a hat. And unlike some of the crew, neither of them have bits that fall off ![]() Indoor snapshot time again... another week has blown by, and today's heavy rain meant no outdoor pix. Got this gorgeous dress on Aliex-press. ![]() RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#20, May 23) - davidd - 05-25-2025 Very pretty! Classy and elegant, with an appropriate setting that suggests style and culture. |
