You definitely found the right model to model the lovely outfit.

“The PrettyTiny Film Company First Property Recon Team is on the road again! We’re in PEI! After two increasingly despairing years of searching for a new home, Mum is just about ready to tell Nova Scotia to get stuffed. Maybe we don’t wanna live there anyway. So we are ex-panding our search. We saw the bridge for the first time in March on an adventure we haven’t posted yet, but today we had our first drive over it. You can see it in the background.  Basically we’re just gonna drive around and look at things again – see if this might be a place we would like to live. (Disappointing to read that the ‘international house of dolls’ is no longer in business!)
“We hope to have some adventures to post for you.”

So that's what a run with the Recon Team means! (I thought maybe it was a local jogging group.)

If you guys move in to that lighthouse I'm coming to visit!

Good luck on your road trippin' property searchin' adventure!

Leaving our mark on Cavendish Beach.

That's a lot of big writing for the Tiny Crew!
Not unlike the Nazca lines in relative scale.

"Continuing with the Grand-Tour-style activities... dismantling our ride. Mum got a discount because a wheel was loose and didn't line up right. But after cleaning out a crapload of glue from someone's previous repair, we concluded that it's a dumb design and doesn't line up right anyway we are dumb for not knowing how this model is supposed to look. We hope Mum gets it put back together properly."

Ah, the joys of vintage Vespas!

Have you ever read a book called "Vroom with a View" by Peter Moore? He fulfills a life-long dream of touring Italy on a vintage Vespa motor-scooter. I read the book several years ago and found it exceptionally engaging and entertaining.

Oh, I see Mr. Moore has a website: https://www.petermoore.net/books/vroom-with-a-view/

Nope, I haven't read it.  I do enjoy travel stories.  I looked at the website; the books sound interesting.

Daisy & Magenta had an outing last Sunday.  They are conveniently little enough to travel, but inconveniently a little too big for a handy carrier.  And Magenta's hair was already a mess out of the box, so adventures won't help.

Adventures provide a legitimate excuse for messy hair!

Nice lighthouse setting.

Wow, suuuper late this week, but, Life Stuff, some timewasting, and I got stuck into a stinker of an article for Monday deadline.
Dawn with a few of the flowers that were left after I mowed.

RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#25, July 5) - davidd - 07-07-2025

What a fun, colorful photo!
And such a lush foresty setting!

Where will the "stinker of an article" appear?

RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#26, July 11) - Alliecat - 07-12-2025

Thanks smile  "The lush foresty setting" is a little patch of ferns beside and half under my front steps.
The difficult article was for the paper.  Latest chapter in the harbour dredging debacle which the contractor got kicked off of last fall and the relevant federal government departments have only just admitted it this spring.

If you want "lush", these lilies were a wonderful clump when I first got them.  Like everything else up in that garden (including me sad ) they are languishing.  They're in a ring that had mint in it previously, so it's impossible to get a good angle.  They're also past their peak.  >sigh<  These are among the plants I want to take with me.... some day.....  slash

RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#26, July 11) - davidd - 07-13-2025

If that's "languishing," how vibrant they must be when they are flourishing!

RE: PrettyTiny Film Company Pic-A-Week, **2025** (#27, July 19) - Alliecat - 07-20-2025

When I got them they were a whole big clump.  The first couple of years all the stems flowered.  Now half the stems didn't grow more than a few inches and there were only 2 flowers  sad

The fireweed, however, is doing really well.  I have a lot more since I've made the effort to collect the stems in the fall and spread the seeds after I burn in the spring.
I'll have to start a flower patch all over again somewhere else  Cry

A quick few snapshots of Natalie this afternoon.  There were soooooo many bumblebees!

I've also discovered you can see my gaillardias from space.   Whacked
