Portraits can be a nice way to ex-plore a doll or figure’s personality. I always like to do it with new ones.

29 December –– Captain Action Doctor Evil Figure by Round2 Toys

A company called Round2 tried to revive the Captain Action line of figures in the early 2000s with redesigned versions of the characters. Like the Playing Mantis line a few years earlier, the Round2 effort failed within a couple of years.

In my "story universe," I refer to the Round2 Doctor Evil as "Cousin Doctor Evil."

His brain can be removed and replaced. The figure includes three separate brains with different colors and textures! Pretty cool, actually. Woulda been one of my faves if I'd had this fig when I was a kid!

Older Dr. Evil has a derpiness to him that I find endearing. The newer version has a more evil vibe.
