The actually makes the cap look weathered, which is how baseball caps should look.

The girls jave been very industrious this week - I'd hate to imagine what behind our washing machine looks like... We have a semi-detached laundry, and the floor is often covered in dried leaves.

This is true! A good cap should look "lived in."

I had what amounted to an outside laundry when I lived in Hawaii, so yes, leaves, cobwebs, lizards, all kinds of fun stuff!
