If the price is right, I suppose the Emilys could adopt another sister.

And...  Sweatdrop ... that might possibly have happened much sooner than anticipated.

The lighting is pure perfection and yay for another appearance of the spiral staircase!!!

Your comment brought to my attention an oversight most dire: I do not have a spiral staircase in Pinky Street scale!
So many projects, not enough time!

Yes, the Isuzu Emi figure is definitely one of the most visually impressive releases in the original Pinky Street line.

Indeed; her overall demeanor reminds me a bit of a particular queen who rules over one of the other photo-streams on this forum.

13 July – And It Still Leaks!

Thread tape, thread sealant, and even epoxy cement, and this little shower fitting continues to leak! Why is it that the small, seemingly simple steps often become the most time-consuming, challenging, and frustrating?

In other words: GAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!

RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Alliecat - 07-14-2019

Yeah, she looks like she's about to say something with four letters. Is Mercury in retrograde or something...? Handyman Guy 'fixed' my leak that the plumber created, but after a downpour yesterday IT's still leaking too. Not nearly as bad, but, still wet coming into my cellar. He recommends something called "Leak Stop". It's a black spray stuff. He didn't put enough on. Maybe you can find that. Although if epoxy cement didn't work...

Haha, this. She does look like you better not mess with her.

Did you call that on the money, or what?

July 7 through 31.

That eksplains a LOT! Y'know, I didn't used to put much stock in astrology, but the last couple of years, whenever things have been going awry, I've checked, and yup, most of the time a Mercury retrograde is in effect.

This is generally supposed to be an excellent year for me, with Jupiter in my sun sign, but that Mercury thing... well, in the section of the article above that discusses how Mercury retrograde will affect various signs, it says: Sagittarius: Everything Will Go Wrong!

LOL

Hang in there, I'm sure everything will work out in the end! It may take a considerable amount of four-letter words, but your amazing team will succeed!

Gaah indeed! Pullip is looking rather concerned at the patch-job holding. I keep fingers crossed that it will.

Yes, employing a precise and appropriate vocabulary is essential when working on highly technical tasks.

That patch isn't holding. She'll have to try something else.

"Can we adjust the handle a little bit, maybe?"

RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Alliecat - 07-15-2019

LOL, these are both great! Glad to see they've moved on to other jobs outside in the fresh air LOL
Wow, I love the background in the 2nd one.... it looks like you are in the middle of the wilderness with not another soul around!
I'd have to say that for much of the last few years, I wouldn't have noticed if Mercury was in retrograde cos it felt like that all the time... Interesting theories on that page...

RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Elfy - 07-15-2019

There are many things that the dynamic duo can do, but I think lawn mowing may be beyond them.

"Maybe it just looks really tall 'cuz we're kinda short."
LOL

They can do just about anything!

RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - werepuppy - 07-15-2019

... I laughed. The amount of times I've wished I could just hang off something like that...

RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Lejays17 - 07-15-2019

I’m so glad we pay a bloke to do that for us. Not a favoured chore at all, and this way it gets done regularly.

But it is fun to hang off high-ish things like that smile

I love how Janie is holding onto the blade of grass in the first pic.

And I agree, the landscape of the second one is gorgeous!

15 July – Carly Steps Up... Again

Another one of those days, but iCarly Fashion Switch Carly is willing to chip in to help us continue the Doll A Day project without resorting to posting "from the archives."

She's such a sweet little thing. She really deserves a decent photo op one of these days rather than a quick, blurry, last-minute, no-effort snapshot.

RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Alliecat - 07-16-2019

She's so cute and sunshiney!

RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Elfy - 07-16-2019

Carly is the morale officer, right?
