RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new May 19, pg. 6) - martah - 05-20-2016 That picture with little picnic basket is my favourite. She looks lovely. RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new May 19, pg. 6) - Offgenemi - 05-20-2016 She is very cute and she looks very pretty in front of yellow flowers and blue skies RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new May 19, pg. 6) - Cornflower Blue - 05-20-2016 Congrats on Gran Via! She's one of my fav J-Dolls with such a natural, boyish look. And her stock looks amazing on Pullips. RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new May 19, pg. 6) - Alliecat - 05-21-2016 Thank you everybody That really is the goofiest skirt I've ever seen. Why is it all bunched up in the back like it is? It looks ok from the front... but the back is just weird RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new May 19, pg. 6) - Cornflower Blue - 05-22-2016 I guess to achieve the bubble effect? I still love it. RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new May 19, pg. 6) - Hunajasieni - 05-23-2016 I sewed the foldings around the waist straight on the dress when I removed it, I didn't like it was kinda saggy bag when I removed her from the box. I think mine looks really nice now. :3 Your Gran Via is so pretty too! Mine has new wig, I should take pics of the 2 of them I got home already... RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new June 3, pg. 7) - Alliecat - 06-03-2016 Well, this gang sure multiplied from the original two... What better place for the blonde girls than a patch of buttercups? (Unfortunately there was also an ants' nest nearby and I had to brush them off the elbows of my bug shirt after every photo. Ugh!) Isabelle started it; I originally was just going to take her out because she's newer and has the smallest photo portfolio, and I thought she'd match so nicely. But the rest of the gang wanted to come along... Sunny. Charonne's thinking Sound of Music? How could I forget Robyn? She looked so reproachful when I went back in for her! And we forgot Isabelle's hat in the first round of pictures. 4 gorgeous girls Thanks for looking! RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new June 3, pg. 7) - Little mouse - 06-03-2016 They all look fabulous and I love that last photo.......they are all posed so naturally and well. And what is a 'bug shirt' please? RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new June 3, pg. 7) - Offgenemi - 06-03-2016 I love love love this series of photos! You really make sure everybody gets the spotlight these girls shine! The buttercups make perfect background for them. I miss them RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new June 3, pg. 7) - Alliecat - 06-10-2016 Thank you both Charonne was still dressed for winter -- wearing pink skates!! Fortunately they are hidden in the grass. She now has more seasonally appropriate footwear! This is a bug shirt: http://www.amazon.com/Bug-Baffler-Insect-Protective-Shirt/dp/B00F72ZGBY And yes, you look stupid in it, and it's hard to see what you're doing, and it doesn't stop mosquitoes. But at least it keeps the blackflies off. I live in the Deep South, and we don't need those shirts! D: What kind of climate do you guys HAVE up there?! I always thought that it was really cold and snowy that fat north. RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new June 3, pg. 7) - Hunajasieni - 06-11-2016 Oh, you have so many pretty girls pictured again! I like the outside pics so much, I noticed they had put flowers outside here too, so I can go take pics with some flowers outside now! I think the pics are worth of the bugs! Now you got the blond gang, maybe you should get darker haired girls in the set next time? And on a side note for fishy... At least we can have very warm summer here in Finland (which is always said to be equal with Canada on the climate and nature and such) and also have a lot of bugs in the summer. Tough there is less in big cities and more in the countryside, you get especially eaten up when visiting a cottage or fishing or something. RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new June 3, pg. 7) - Alliecat - 06-12-2016 ^ Ah, someone else shares the misery Yes, you should go take some pix with the flowers. I'll have to think about where to put them. (06-10-2016, 07:23 AM)fishy Wrote: Wait, you have that many bugs IN CANADA ?! I live in the Deep South, and we don't need those shirts! D: What kind of climate do you guys HAVE up there?! I always thought that it was really cold and snowy that fat north.Well, you know... the three weeks of the year that it doesn't snow, we have bugs My dad tells a story, somewhat apocryphal, about my grandfather once being approached by a carload of Americans with skis on top, who asked him how much farther they had to go to get to the snow. It was July When he said, another couple thousand miles, they looked at him like he was crazy. Seriously though, yes, they're a northern-woods kinda thing, the tinybugsfromhell. http://www.muskokaregion.com/opinion-story/3580439-everything-you-didn-t-want-to-know-about-black-flies/ RE: Alliecat's J-dolls (new June 3, pg. 7) - fishy - 06-12-2016 (06-12-2016, 01:45 PM)Alliecat Wrote: ^ Ah, someone else shares the misery ;__; I've sometimes thought of moving to Canada because I thought you guys never had any bugs up there (I live in the Bug Paradise of the United States.) I grew up in southern Ontario & while you might get a mosquito bite sitting outside in the evening, I never saw a blackfly till I moved to the east coast. |
