RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 17 Sep 2020. p. 6) - Aijo - 09-26-2020 Unofficial couple Onyx and Sawyer. They have a complicated relationship, even though they are not in one. Although one day I hope they would overcome their fears and struggles, for now they are just employer and employee. Unspoken by Melissa B. Perry, on Flickr Nothing to Say by Melissa B. RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 25 Sep 2020. p. 7) - Elfy - 09-26-2020 I think the interaction between Onyx and Sawyer is really cute, and like Allie said, really well done with the low lighting. RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 25 Sep 2020. p. 7) - werepuppy - 09-26-2020 Oh these are such cute shots. Despite saying they're not a couple (yet), they really do feel like date night shots. RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 25 Sep 2020. p. 7) - Lejays17 - 09-27-2020 These are lovely. Like others said, the low lighting is working perfectly for look you are aiming for. RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 25 Sep 2020. p. 7) - Aichan - 09-28-2020 Very sweet and great lighting and mood setting. RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 25 Sep 2020. p. 7) - Aijo - 10-18-2020 Thank you so much everyone for the lovely comments! ^^ RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 25 Sep 2020. p. 7) - Aijo - 10-18-2020 So I've been working on a Puma-themed photoshoot. It's not completely finished, yet, but here are some of my favorite shots so far! Family Portrait 2020 by Melissa B. Perry, on Flickr Tarryn 098 by Melissa B. Perry, on Flickr Gia 023 by Melissa B. It's amazing how doll & toy photographers end up getting gigs with companies; I know of several who kind of fell into it. Maybe you should hit up Puma to do some promo photos RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 17 Oct 2020. p. 7) - werepuppy - 10-18-2020 Oh these look a lot of fun! RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 17 Oct 2020. p. 7) - Elfy - 10-19-2020 I like that you have a budding athlete amongst your crew, and she has attitude, too. RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 17 Oct 2020. p. 7) - Aijo - 10-25-2020 Thank you so much everyone! @Alliecat: That's definitely an idea. I didn't know that there were collectors like that! @Elfy: I know. She just keeps getting more and more attitude! RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 17 Oct 2020. p. 7) - Lejays17 - 10-25-2020 These are all great. Such a variety of outfits & poses (and attitudes - looks like you have some top-level athletes in that area ) RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 17 Oct 2020. p. 7) - Alliecat - 10-25-2020 (10-25-2020, 07:41 AM)Aijo Wrote: @Alliecat: That's definitely an idea. I didn't know that there were collectors like that!"Plastic Action" and "Sir Dork" are 2 figure photographers that have had agreements with various companies. Not too familiar with the first one because I just discovered him, but it looks like he's done a lot of commercial shoots. It would be fun to see some dolls break into that world RE: Aijo's Dolls (updated 17 Oct 2020. p. 7) - dunneh - 10-25-2020 I love the backstories on your dolls! They seem so realistic, it's awesome... the pictures are dynamic and have a lot of heart. I love the light flares in the backgrounds of some of your shots also. It gives such a dreamy feel ♥♥ I agree you should look into commercial stuff, your stuff is great. Also if you ever have time, a picfic or story series would be cool! (Though I know that's a ton of work but reading your insights into how your doll/characters develop makes me interested in knowing what happens next with them!) EDIT: Duh! I just realized you have a picfic link in your sig to your site. My bad!! I will definitely check it out. |
