The leaves are late coming out this year, by a week or so, but I'm seeing pollen already, which is early. And of course the blackflies are here too. sad

Lucky little plastic people are immune to all that nonsense.
It has been down to nearly freezing a couple of nights in the last 2 weeks. Hopefully we are done with that by now!
A flower-spike seems like a lovely nature-friendly organic idea for a spear.

Been a while since I had my big beautiful blue guy out, so a quickie today. Jake is hoping (as am I) that the long-awaited "Avatar" sequel will prompt Hot Toys to make a Neytiri...

Saw a trailer for Avatar 2 just the other week. I think the release date is December. In keeping with James Cameron’s obsession with the sea, this one seems to focus on the ocean based Pandorans.

Well... I'm still here... hoping others will return...

I said I wasn't going to get another of these... but I'd been eyeing Emi Vanda for a while... was away this week and didn't really ex-pect it to be overnight, but (insert long story) ended up getting an Airbnb & going to a movie before going to another event the next day, and after wandering aimlessly in Walmart & not finding either hiking shoes or slippers, and not having a list of Things To Get On The Mainland cos I hadn't ex-pected etc. etc. ... I ended up getting a doll instead LOL

They did have an Emi, and she was also very pretty, but I swerved & got this one instead, not least because I liked her second outfit better. Have to try it on the Pullips.

Awww! I was just eyeing up the Rainbow High dolls in Target today, and then read your review of Poppy again when I got home. Good to see she now has a sister!

(I don't think I'm getting one... I like several, but the shiny faces and toothy smiles are both turn-offs for me... yet I keep looking at pictures, so that might change. I really like Emi Vanda, too...)
