A chilly outing - Alliecat - 03-25-2015

This was supposed to be an expedition to the icicle cavern, but the tide was in. slash So we wound up somewhere less dramatic.
I am really glad I didn't meet anyone on the beach who asked why I was going in the "wrong" direction for walks dressed like a polar explorer with a whole tote bag full of dolls!! LOL

The rest of the minis weren't dressed for winter at all.
I have ordered some more appropriate footwear for the big girls. These high heels on the beach are a little goofy...

Ooh~! Despite the icicles being so small, they're very pretty! I really like the picture of Sunsette behind the icicles! All of your girls look fantastic though!

Really nice shoot! I especially like pans (if im right) shot, she looks like a david attenborough kinda person. Also Natalie looks so diva-ish! Great shoot!

Just curious, how did you get the girls to stand in there own in the last shot?

Thank you smile Being so tiny, she's easy to tote around for photos in so many places.

Haha, you make me imagine her lecturing on tiny ice-cave critters. LOL Yes, Petra is a Peter Pan.
I just propped their stands behind them and leaned the dolls against them. With the right angle, I don't need to Photoshop -- and I realized after posting that a bit of Charonne's is showing; I forgot to take it out!

I envy your wintery weather. We really didn't get anything in my neck of the woods. Also, your girls have the most fabulous wardrobes! Lovely photo set.

Wow, it's so funny how some places have cold and snow still, except year-round snow places, obviously... You even have icicles! And you have so many cool dolls (heh heh). I love the jackets too, especially Natalie and Aislinn's. And your Pullip Peter Pan looks lovely in white, by the way.

Ugh, you can HAVE our wintry weather. I'm so sick of it!!!! Irritated

Thanks for the wardrobe compliments smile I went on kind of a doll-clothes binge last year. Needed to stop; I mean, how many outfits can one doll wear!? There are some good Barbie clothes to be found on eBay for very cheap, like $4 or less, but you have to hunt a little. Most of the outfits are from lovelygirlstore2010 on eBay, which I like to recommend; they have nice stuff often less than $10, but you have to be careful with the fit. Natalie's & Petra's are from there; Aislinn's is a Twilight character outfit (not a fan so I'm not sure whose clothes they're supposed to be LOL ) which I originally got for Daesani.

It is; alas, the icicles are probably melty by now -- would NEVER have thought I'd want it to stay cold just a little longer so I could get there again!!

Aw I love this shoot! Daesani is gorgeous here and definitely looks like she's shooting a music video - it's all rugged terrain and fabulous hair! Must be a power ballad! Heart

Hahaha -- yes, I can imagine that... I wonder if I'll have to get her a guitar LOL
