I only saw the movie once many years ago so I didn't remember any details, but I googled for screencaps out of curiousity -- and there was the shot, just how you did it! I wasn't sure how the wigs would take to it but I wasn't too worried since those are spare wigs that I don't use and probably never will(that's a very faded sun damaged Ra Muw wig, for example, not that you can really tell here.) but the lotion washed right out and did no harm to them. Is lotion bad for dolly plastic? Heh -- I walked a long way over a big-rock beach looking for a perfectly round rock (it actually isn't; it's just placed right). I love it that photographically, I feel like I "know where everything is" here, if I want a setting. I remembered the crevice. It was such a gloomy day I was almost working in the dark. I often wonder, on my beach dolly shoots, if there's anyone with binoculars in any of the boats that are sometimes out there. They must wonder what the !!!! I'm doing
