Adventures of Lea, who kept her head (new pix Feb 26) - Alliecat - 06-09-2016 Well, drat; it looks like all I had to do was maybe sand 1mm off the top of the MTM neck and Dawn would have got this body. I could still do it, but would it be fair to behead her again now that she's had her own photoshoot??? She looks so peaceful and content. A lovely evening on the beach. Yoga? My favourite shot of her so far. "Thanks. This thing was giving me a headache." RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Haint Blue - 06-09-2016 She really is so sweet! She has the best face I think I've ever seen on a Barbie and she obviously must be great to pose. RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Offgenemi - 06-09-2016 She can always have Dawn's body she is a pretty girl and she is the most elegant looking girl among all Barbie my poor Lea is in a box without a body I didn't even give her Ece's body. I feel evil now RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Miss Edith - 06-12-2016 she is lovely (not something I often say about Barbies) I don't think you can take her body away now, she looks far too relaxed and happy with it I love the first and last photos best RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Alliecat - 06-12-2016 Thanks I know, right? She's become part of the crew and dangit, I'd have to get another one to "harvest" a body!! And yes, she is so amazingly poseable, and you don't have to worry about things breaking when you can't see which way the joint goes under a sleeve, for example. She can do just about any pose a person can, so she is actually a lot of fun. ... those days when you're supposed to be an adult and get work done, but you just want to play with dolls instead I thought this would be a good outfit for her -- the top is way too big for the stock-body girls. I think this is "the" outfit for her. She borrowed Andreya's samurai horse today... Made a friend... Unlike my favourite childhood Barbie, she can actually sit on the horse without breaking a hip. At about this point, another photoshoot was shut down by bugs. I had to photoshop one off Silver's neck Thanks for looking RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Miss Edith - 06-12-2016 she's brave too, that horse is showing his big teeths ! These new bodies are amazing, my daughter had approximately 287 Barbies when she was little and they were forever dislocating or breaking bits off themselves. oh and Lea looks great in that outfit, it suits her outdoors personality. RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - dargosmydaddy - 06-13-2016 Love those horse photos! Wow! RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Alliecat - 06-14-2016 Thank you both Man, why can't Groove make bodies like that?! RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Cornflower Blue - 06-14-2016 She really is quite posable! I wonder what I did with mine? She's probably hiding, hoping to avoid a beheading. RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - fishy - 06-14-2016 Pretty photos! RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - martah - 06-20-2016 Gorgeous pictures, seems like she stole a place in your heart already. RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - Alliecat - 06-20-2016 Thank you guys (06-20-2016, 12:45 AM)martah Wrote: Gorgeous pictures, seems like she stole a place in your heart already.Yes, she's really grown on me. It makes me think of how kids bring home stray animals and the parents say "don't play with it, you'll get attached..." CB, you might end up wanting to keep her when you find her. I really wish you could just buy the bodies...! It seems like she's had to work extra-hard to earn a place at the PrettyTiny Film Company. Somehow I managed to forget her while hunting for calendar pictures; then at the last minute "OH! Lea! How could I forget Lea??" and she squeaked in riding the horse in the buttercups, as Miss August in the PTFCo 2017 calendar RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head - it's a secret - 07-16-2016 This kind of Barbies are the best! :3 RE: Adventures of Lea, who kept her head (new pix Apr 19) - Alliecat - 04-20-2020 It's mildly horrifying just how fast time passes. Poor Lea has not had a photoshoot in almost FOUR YEARS????? Gaaahhh!!! So I got her to help out with a scavenger hunt item and she reminded me that I need to do more with her. Poor girl, she's right. In the burned-off wildflower patch, new life. "Snowflakes???? Come ON!!!" It was about 7 degrees, and ridiculous little dry snowflakes drifting down. Found a hole in the woods. "Anyone home?" "You need to photograph me more. I love my Pullip sisters, but they can't do this." "Or this!" "Or this!" Thanks for looking! Same thing here today: a few flakes of the stuff. Winter does not want to let go. |
