Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Alliecat - 10-10-2016 Had a crappy week, so I'm kinda behind with dolly stuff, & haven't been doing that much with them. But Mini Dormouse arrived recently, all the way from Singapore. So the PrettyTiny Film Company & Modelling Studio now has a mini contingent of 14!! o.O Nobody keeps their goofy furry outfits for long upon arriving here... Once upon a time Sunsette was a bit jealous of the first newcomers. Now she knows that as the president, CEO and Queen Bee of PTFCo, it's her responsibility to make them welcome, and she has embraced her role. Very generous to offer the new girl some clothes, especially since she looks so hot in that polka-dot outfit herself. "Oooh, I feel pretty now." Isn't she sweet! Alas, she has a shiny patch on her forehead from the package! ! It's not really big, and hopefully won't show in most lighting. Otherwise there's always Photoshop... Another supermodel is born? Um, and then this happened. I was really surprised; first, I thought Dormouse's hair was darker. One owner photo made it look black. I thought I'd like black better... still might... but it turns out Saras & Dormouse have the same hair AND eye colour. So it looks like there is suddenly either another mom/daughter pair here, or at the very least, sisters. Wow eh? I'm not sure what her name will be yet. I'd have gone with Dora, but I know a Dora who is a nasty snob ...so maybe not. And I have an acquaintance Doreen, so that seems weird. But some variation thereof, I think. Thanks for looking RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Doll Angel (Janeen F) - 10-10-2016 Ohhhh I love your little dormouse!!! I especially love how eye catching her emerald hair and brown eyes are! Sunsette was so nice to help her find a new outfit, and Sara's would make a wonderful sister/ mother. I hope your little Dormouse has lots of fun getting to know everyone else ^-^ RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Offgenemi - 10-11-2016 She is one of the cutest little pullips. I love how she matches with Saras RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Cornflower Blue - 10-11-2016 She sure does make a perfect match for Saras. But if you make them mother and daughter, than Saras is stuck with that wig. RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Missy_Crane - 10-12-2016 She's very beautiful! Another newcomer to join Sunsette on her adventures! I'm very fond of dolls with yellow in their faceup, like this girl, and Nina. I wish they'd do a full size version of her RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Severity - 10-12-2016 She is so cute! I'd actually like to have dormouse most of all the minis since I played the Dormouse in a production of Alice :3 As for names, I took the gilded theme of Doreen a step farther: Oria? Aurelia? Dorilys? RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Miss Edith - 10-13-2016 my first thought when I saw your photo with her in "real" clothes was that I had no clue she had the same colouring as Saras She is so pretty. It's a shame Dora doesn't work for you, because it goes with Sara so well. I'm fond of Dori because she is a character in a book series I love. Aside from that I am no help at all. RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Alliecat - 10-14-2016 Thanks everyone (10-12-2016, 03:17 PM)Severity Wrote: As for names, I took the gilded theme of Doreen a step farther: Oria? Aurelia? Dorilys?Heh, I looked at the 'gilded' names too; hadn't actually thought of the etymology till I looked it up. I looked at a text-heavy chart of 'D' names till all those D's started making the words look really funny o.O I often like to use something similar to their stock names, so I think she's going to be 'Doryn' -- close but different enough. Since a possible origin of Dorian/Doryan may be from Greek and something to do with 'child of the sea', that will work nicely with our nautical gang (10-11-2016, 12:34 PM)Cornflower Blue Wrote: She sure does make a perfect match for Saras. RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - redrenard - 10-20-2016 They look so cute their skin color, their eye color and hair color amazing. Meant to be together. RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - pink_bunny - 10-23-2016 They really look like sisters *__* Your little girl has such a friendly smile and a cute face <3 And Doryn is a nice name RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - enofelli - 10-27-2016 Omg everything is so tiny and adorable!! Great photos!!! Doryn is a nice name as well! RE: Mini Dormouse joins the crew - Alliecat - 10-27-2016 Thanks, all She really is very cute. Some of the minis can be quite elegant little models once they get out of their goofy stock outfits! |
