RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Goblin - 05-20-2019 Smart dolls are so cool <3 I'll probably never own one unless they're gifted to me, but your photos really make me want to reconsider. The quality of the photo is amazing too! I sold a bunch of other dolls to get my first... and second... Smart Dolls. 19 May – Yesterday during her Lost Adventure Day hike, Triv (Smart Doll Symphony) found this
ancient stone arrow point
neon_jellyfish and Lejays17 asked if Trivia made any interesting discoveries during her adventure yesterday. Yes, in fact, she did! While it was not "treasure" in a financial sense, it was an interesting historical relic. Various peoples passed through this area in prehistoric times, including Paiute Indians and the mysterious Anasazi people. This point could be anywhere between 500 and 5,000 years old! Neither Triv nor I are sufficiently versed in archæology to offer a more specific date.
RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - dargosmydaddy - 05-20-2019 Very cool! RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Alliecat - 05-20-2019 Cool. On first glance, because it's so light, I thought you were having us on and had made this out of the snow you mentioned Crummy late spring and all, it still sounds like a very cool place to ex-plore. RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Lejays17 - 05-20-2019 So it is treasure! Just not the type to enable you to retire. How fascinating to find it. RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Elfy - 05-20-2019 Wonderful find for Triv. Made the hike worth it. RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - neon_jellyfish - 05-20-2019 Now, that's an awesome treasure! RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - werepuppy - 05-20-2019 Oh, wow, that's an amazing find. You both should be so proud of it! RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - davidd - 05-21-2019 Say what now? Snow? In May? 20 May – Only Seven More Months Until Christmas!
RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - dargosmydaddy - 05-21-2019 Yikes! RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Alliecat - 05-21-2019 Ugh. Does it help that this makes ME feel a bit better about OUR late spring? She looks pretty in the snow anyway. That looks like a difficult shot; dark coloured doll with all that light snow. Nice job on the contrast. RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - werepuppy - 05-21-2019 She looks very surprised by this fall of snow - I'm guessing that the weather forecast didn't say anything about that. RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Elfy - 05-21-2019 I’d be surprised by snow in late spring, if we actually ever got snow here. RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - neon_jellyfish - 05-21-2019 Oh boy. Sorry you have to deal with this, but the title of the photo made me laugh! RE: davidd's A Doll A Day 2019 - Goblin - 05-22-2019 Its 83F here in Tennessee if you'd rather have that lol |
