Poor rocker without his jacket! I hate pleather with passion. There are dolls I didn't get eventhough I really liked them, just because their outfits were pleather. Latest example is Pullip Zappa.

A rocker just doesn’t look right without the leather jacket. Poor bloke.

I'm sadly pretty sure I'm going to need to get pleather to remake it. Nothing else will look right. He needs his jacket.

He really does need his jacket.

From the 2011 collection, and is 15" tall. Higgins is one of the ones it's very easy to give ex.pressions too, and as always, very huggable.

So much character and so much fluffiness! That's one fine bear right there. I love the low-key panda coloring.

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - davidd - 06-19-2020

That's a bear with plenty of attitude!

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - Alliecat - 06-19-2020

Very sweet and cuddly looking. What neon said about the pleather. It’s a shame that companies continue to use it, especially when it is for outfit components like cool jackets.

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - Lejays17 - 06-19-2020

So soft and squishy.

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - Elfy - 06-19-2020

He looks very very huggable, so fluffy!

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - werepuppy - 06-19-2020

Thank you, all! I can confirm Higgin is very huggable!

171. I is for Invisible

Invisi-Billy! Or Billy Griffin if you saw the 1933 film and know the Invisible Man was Doctor Jack Griffin. As far as MH male releases went, Billy was a bit different in the lower part of his legs being transulcent but still rather plain. That being said I think he's got one of the better looking sculpts for a MH boy. In my doll-verse, he's related to Twyla Boogeyman - through their mums - and River has a bit of a crush on him, that he doesn't know about.

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 06-20-2020

As with pretty much all MH boys, I think the character is great, but the dolls just don't do it for me.

I like Invisi-River (in the making) way more than the official pairing, headcanon accepted!

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - Lejays17 - 06-20-2020

I didn’t realise he was party translucent, but if I’d even thought about it fir a moment it’s all in his name.

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - davidd - 06-20-2020

Invisi-Billy was a prominent character in the first four Monster High novels, the YA ones by Lisi Harrison.

Most of the male releases, other than the original Cleo/Deuce 2-pack, were in short supply, at least where I lived. I never saw Billy in the stores.

Of course, he's invisible, so that could have been a contributing factor.

Yeah the boys never did meet the same design highs as the girls.

I will do something with it! Somehow...

It would have been interesting if he was more translucent.

I remember finding him by sheer accident, to be honest.

Though I did not know he was a prominent character in those books.

I really need to tidy my shelves...

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - neon_jellyfish - 06-20-2020

Tidy shelves are nice and practical, but this has a wonderful 'Room' feel to it!

RE: Werepuppy's A Doll A Day Challenge 2020 - davidd - 06-21-2020

It certainly looks like a fun shelf to explore!
