davidd's A DOLL A DAY 2026 - davidd - 01-02-2026 1 January - A Doll A Day 2026: . . . After seeing the messy-hair photo I posted of gNatalie (Smart Doll Kanata - Smiling Variant) yesterday, I decided to brush her hair. One of my New Year Resolutions for 2026 is to try to better manage (meaning: comb or brush once in a while) the hair of my dolls and action figures. Then I took gNat outside for a photo, and the wind and dry-air static resulted in instant Frizzageddon. Thus begins A Doll A Day 2026. Oh, hey! Not only did I at least try to comb gNat's hair, I also snapped the pix using my DSLR camera! I am seriously out of practice with that camera. I need to review the manual, or even better, the book I purchased back when I bought the camera and which I've pretty much never looked at. Quick refresher on how A Doll A Day works: 1. Take a picture of a doll or action figure (or a near-enough tangent) every day. 2. Post the new doll picture online every day. 3. If you're AFK (Away From Keyboard) from time to time, try to at least snap a picture each day and post upon your return. 4. Quality doesn't matter. The Doll A Day Challenge is about quantity and consistency, not quality. 5. If A Doll A Day seems intimidating, try for A Doll A Week or A Doll A Fortnight. 6.
