Poor Moé! She has been trying to join the other girls for fireworks and fun on American Independence Day, the Fourth of July, since 2008, but she doesn't quite grasp the concept.

Super Bowl Sunday Surfing Safari

Not being big football fans, the Pinky Street girls started a tradition back in 2006... yes, 2006... of going surfing on (nearly) every Super Bowl Sunday. Of course, they lived in Hawaii back then, so it was easier. Since they moved to Utah a few years ago, their Super Bowl Sunday surfing excursions have become a bit more challenging.

2018: "I think the water is a little bit too cold!"

2017: "Uhmm... we must have taken a really, really, really wrong turn somewhere!"

2016: "This... isn't the beach I remember from last year!"

2016: "I... think... I might cry...."

Just discovered these

I discovered these by accident yesterday (I was searching for My Melody figures and the My Melody Pinky: St popped up) and I couldn't resist these little cuties. The strange thing, though, is I couldn't really find a good website or anything with much info on them. Are they even still made?

Anyway, I ended up putting bids on two of the auctions I saw that were ending close to when I was looking that didn't have any bids yet and I won both. I got a girl in a red coat with fangs for just under $2 and the other auction was for both the Street Fighter and King of Fighters double packs, which I won for $2.

One thing I found strange, though, is I didn't really see any listings for used Pinky: St figures. Most, if not all of the listings were for new, unopened figures. Literally everything else I collect (mostly different toy lines), if I search on eBay, I'll likely find way more listings for used than new in package. So what's the deal? Is it just a case of people buying them and never selling them?

I've had a surge of pinky sharing recently. It took me a few hours to get out my old pinky furniture but it was so fun, it felt like going back in time.

I made a few changes and added new decorations to update it. I tried to keep the same idea--Tamae (PK003) goes a little bit overboard.

Custom Koroko Shoes by sork
Almost a year ago or two ago, I bought some custom feet from pinky-street member, sork. The shoes are little crocs he made himself! They are so cute and detailed! <3 I'm so impressed he made the sitting legs and custom skirts himself. I read his tutorial so many times and I am floored. I could never do that.

Another re-do of an old BBQ image. Same deal as above, I tried to use the same furniture, but added a few details to update. New pinkys too.

I unfortunately had to box up my Pinky Street collection earlier in the year when it became apparent that my toddler thought they good teething toys :phaunted: I was kind of lamenting their fate when I realized perhaps Christmas was the perfect occasion to display them...
