Day 98

I'm having a migraine, I need to take the kitty to the vet, which is complicated right now, our politicians are doing their best to make the mess even messier and my mood was a real crap in the morning. And today's doodle really reflects that. It's a crappy hommage to Munch's Scream (with a dash of A Descent into the Maelström). It did fullfil its purpose, though, and I'm feeling better now. I still have a migraine, and I'm still kinda nervous, because I need to get a pee sample from kitty before 3pm, and she isn't exactly cooperative (if I don't get the sample, I need to cancel the appointment and get a new one, hopefully it would be tomorrow, but yeah, I'd rather go today), but I'm not so depressed anymore. I'm sure I'll be fine when we return from the vet.

I hope kitty -- and you -- are OK. Oh boy, I tried to do the pee sample thing once. It's unbelievable how long they can hold it when they want to. The vet's silly method was a fiasco. I think we finally just went, and she might've done it in the car.

I managed to get the sample yesterday, kitty has cystitis - she tends to get it now and then, for no apparent reason - she got antibiotics and some sort of painkillers (although she doesn't appear to be in pain, so they're just to be extra sure), and she is perfectly fine, she handles this much better than I do. In two weeks, I have to bring another pee sample and kitty with full bladder to the vet, so that will be fun.
