Yeah, and now that there will be tons more satellites from that Starlink thing zooming around, even more clutter in the night sky.  (I was amazed how many satellites I saw during the last outage.  It seemed like more than previously.)  It is too bad that so many people have never seen a really "pure" night sky.
I bet yours is great -- like I said in the other post, you see more in a long ex'posure than with the naked eye.

Ooo, I bet the sky was marvellous.  That sounds like a great adventure.  I'm so not a camper.  As much as I like the idea of sleeping under the stars, I just can't do it if there is cold/damp/bugs! LOL
