The twins are an interesting elongated shape, too. Is the shape a result of growing conditions, or the type of pumpkin?

No idea!  One of their grandparents was a squash; dunno if that had something to do with it!
They weighed in at 9.6 and 6.7 lbs.  So far I have had 2 small jars of seeds, 6 cups of guts, some fabulous muffins from said guts, some brick ice cream that I had to melt and re-freeze as popsicles.  Gonna take a long time to bake & puree both of them (oh, that sounds cruel    )

These are late, but, they were a lot of work.  Aside from shooting them in the middle of the night, I had to paint out a ton of bad pixels.  Always a problem with in-the-dark shots.
Anyway, here's the rest of the crew's H'aloha'ween festivities

Poppy & Daphne had a turn.  I gotta take some more pictures of Daphne.  She's gorgeous.









And of course, the contingent of the crew that really knows how to party!
